Epilogue

"What a small world." Andrew, my classmate in one of my lectures said. His blue eyes were twinkling as if amazed on how our circle was that small.

He was one of the guys I have met from Greenfields back in high school. He was the guy with Christie then. Right now, we were still taking in the fact that we were from rival schools then and now, here we are seated across from each other in our university's park.

"Indeed," I nodded at him in agreement. I couldn't help but smile and be amazed. "I never thought I'd meet you guys again."

"Really?"

"Oh wait, I've kind of met Christie and Zoey just before our prom." I told him, recalling the events of that time.

"So, it was you?" He asked, chuckling as if remembering something. "I remembered Christie telling me she wanted a different dress but she chose what Zoey suggested."

"Oh yes, we were holding the same dress that time when Zoey called for her."

"I'm pretty sure you'd get along really well," He smiled. He then glanced at his watch. "I'm actually wating for Christie. She'll be here anytime soon. Who are you waiting by the way?"

"I'm waiting for Drake, my boyfriend," I told him. "The guy I was with when we first met? Remember him?"

"Yeah," He nodded and then he chuckled. "I remembered Cristoph, Christie's brother trying to hit on you then but your boyfriend appeared."

"Yes, that was Drake," I chuckled alongside with him.

"You two have been together for so long, eh?" He said with amazement behind the tone of his voice.

"Actually, I wasn't with him yet during the game," I told him making his mouth form into an 'o'. "We just started dating after graduation."

He just nodded, taking in the information. "So, what's your next class?"

Before I could answer, there was a clearing of throat behind me. It wasn't Drake that I'm sure. It was more feminine.

I noticed Andrew looking at the person behind me with a genuine smiled. Out of curiosity, I turned my head and found a familiar red head. It was Christie.

"We've just been here for almost two weeks, Drew," She glared at him and I couldn't help but notice how he was trying his best not to laugh at her. "Two weeks. Why, instead of flirting around, won't you help me out as we look for part time jobs?"

"Christie," He told her calmly. I could see that he was trying his best not to laugh at his jealous girlfriend at the moment. "I –"

"Serious?" She asked, cocking her head to one side. She then sighed loudly and looked at me. "Girl, don't get fooled by this—wait, you look familiar."

"Don't worry, I won't get fooled by your boyfriend," I assured her chuckling. "I'm actually waiting for my boyfriend."

"Oh," She mumbled, nodding. "Oh wait, no, no. This guy over here is definitely not my boyfriend."

"Really?" I asked as she walked and sat next to Andrew. They were obviously comfortable with each other.

"Really," She answered me confidently, a smile plastered on her face. She then stretched out her hand to me. "I'm Christie."

"I know," I smiled as I took her hand. "I'm Courtney. Remember? The basketball game? Then the dress?"

"Oh my goodness!" She covered her mouth using her free hand. "I am so sorry, I am a bit forgetful."
