"Dinners ready" Shans mum calls from downstairs. Oh good I'm starving. I follow Shan the down stairs and see everyone sitting at the dinner table. We don't normally eat our dinner at the table together because mum and dad come home at different times so I always just eat dinner with whatever parent is home at the time.

"Thank you so much for having me, this looks so good" I smile as I sit at the table politely.

"You're very welcome sweetie" Shans mum smiles. A few seconds later her brother comes charging into the room and sits down on the seat in front of me. I look up from my food and spot him staring at me, normally when you catch someone staring they look away, but not him, his eyes are steaming into mine.

"Eat up" Shan laughs, patting my shoulder gently. I didn't even realise everyone else has started eating already.

"Oh sorry" I blush, tucking into my massive bowl of chill and rice that's in front of me.

"This tastes amazing" I smile after a few mouthfuls.

"Yeah Jessica is amazing at cooking chilli, I'm terrible" Shans dad laughs.

"They're both crap at cooking, you should taste my food" Shans brother butts in. I don't actually know the guys  names, I'm just referring to them as Shans dad and brother until I catch their names.

"Louis shut the hell up" Shan spits. I'm guessing his name is Louis, that's two  names done, one more to go.

"Ouch" I shout out suddenly when I feel someone kick me really hard under the table.

"Oh god sorry chick, I was aiming for my brat of a sister there sitting next to you" Louis shrugs. Damn that hurt like a bitch. If it wasn't for Shannon's parents sitting at this table I would kick him back so hard, but I'm going to be respectfully.

"Pack it in Louis" Jessica warns.
