<18> Lucifer's Pizza

Sam's POV

Delicate rays of sun tickled my face, waking me up slowly. My bones were sore and my skin tingled. Looking down, I realized I was back in human form. A warm body snored next to me.

I couldn't remember anything.

Groaning, I rolled over and looked at the muscular back in front of me.

Who did I fuck last night?

I couldn't even remember a name.

Nudging the snoring being, I propped myself up to look at their face.

"What?" The person snarled, their voice sending shivers down my spine.

"You gotta get up..." I started, getting stuck on the name.

"Really? Damnit Sam you're my fuckin mate-"

"Holy shit, Dante? Did I sleep with you?"

"No you fucking dumbass! We slept in the same bed together but not together-together."

"You actually let me sleep in the same bed as you?"

"Y-yeah..."

I smiled and fist pumped the air victoriously.

Dante rolled his eyes and shook his head, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"You're so weird!"

"I know! And you love it!"

"Whatever."

"You do. Admit it!"

"Shut up. You're giving me a headache!" He whined.

I pouted mockingly and he rolled his eyes again.

I wrapped my arm around his waist and pulled him closer to me.

"So what are we going to do today? Want to go to a beach?"

"Last time we went to the beach you ended up fucking someone. "

"So I did sleep with someone?"

Dante nodded.

"I don't remember..." I mumbled and he shook his head.

"You're an idiot."

"I know. I'm sorry I did that to you."

"Why would you care?"

"Because I'm your mate and I care about you. I also know how it feels and I'm sorry I put you through that pain."

"It's over now."

I decided against pushing further so I nuzzled my nose into his neck.

He sighed.

"I like waking up next to you." I placed a kiss on his neck.

"Yeah, whatever." He scoffed and tried to get out of the bed but I held him still.

"Let me go Sam."

"No."

"Please?"

"Nope."

He grunted as his body relaxed.

I'm not sure how long we laid together but eventually the hotel door opened and Ivory stepped in.

He quirked his brow at us, two naked men sleeping side by side while holding each other.

"It's not what it looks like!" Dante quipped and Ivory shook his head.
