I am extremely nervous for today. Me and Drew have been in a relationship for about 2 weeks and this is our first date i don't know what he has planned but come on it's like a date rule that the girl should not know where she is being taken. so i thought why not try for once and so i texted him...

where are you taking me-k

i won't tell you darling-a

please tell me-k

no i won't but i'm sure you'll like it-a

but then what should i wear???-k

okay thanks for your immense help now i'm gonna go get ready so bye-k

hey i'll pick you up at 8 and it's only 4:30 why the rush?-a

i'm a girl it's my right to get ready for about 3 hours-k

oh come on you spend no time with your boyfriend-a

oh i do whenever i'm at college i'm with you, the classes which we do not have together you drop me off and pick me up from the classroom and when i'm at home we text so i spend most of my time talking to you-k

I was smiling in the whole conversation when suddenly someone cleared their throat i looked up and saw my mom standing their.

"mother what are you doing here ?", i asked directly looking at my mom

"oh me and your dad had a little time free so we thought that we can spend it with you",my mom said unsurely.

"mom i don't have time today i'm going out",i said and i didn't feel bad at all because they never had time for me and now i don't have time for them.

"is it a date??",she asked totally excited

"yes mom it is my first date with my boyfriend",i  said just as my father entered my room.

"you have a boyfriend",my father asked

"yes i do",i said with no expression on my face.

"bring him home for dinner sometime we would like to know him",father  said

"father you don't know about me so what will you do by knowing him",i said

"i..we..w",he stuttered.

"mother father can you please leave i have to get ready",i said and sadness took over their faces but i did not take my words back. why would i ,there were many times when i wanted them to stay like on my birthdays or Christmas but they used to kiss my cheeks and would continue on their way to the parties.

They went out and i opened my wardrobe in hope to find something good enough to be worn for this extremely important date.

The time now is 5:30 which means that i have 2 and a half hours to get ready.

After much consideration and a lot of throwing of clothes i came up with a casual and cute outfit for my self.

It was faded black jeans with a cute black crop top which had flowers over it. i matched it with black heels and a black clutch when everything was decided i looked at the timing i had an hour and a half left with me so i took half an hour long shower.
