"Wow, are you Paula?"

She felt her heartbeat pick up its pace, but reminded herself of why she was here. Swallowing hard, she smiled and kneeled down to the small brunet boy. He was dressed as some other video game character that she didn't know.

"Yes, I am, sweetheart. Who are you?"

"I'm Pit! Well, my real name is Landon, but Daddy thought I look just like Pit and Pit is my favourite Brawl character. I beat Daddy two times playing as him!"

"Really?" she gasped in mock surprise. "Two times? You must be really good!"

"Daddy says I'm getting too good for him now," the little boy laughed.

Austin watched nearby as Abby and the little boy spoke. He couldn't describe how much he loved her in the exact moment. She was so effortlessly blending into his world, and his heart was completely ensnared when she had dressed herself as a character from his favourite childhood game.

He felt so blessed to have such perfection in his life.
