"Do you think I'll ever get my own happy ending?"
Austin looked up from his own laptop as Abby wrote on hers. Her now shoulder length hair was gently framing her face, and her new bangs were sitting in the frame on her glasses.
"I think so," he finally replied.
"Do you think it'll be with you?"
Austin chuckled. "You've been watching too many romance movies, love."
Abby scowled, but it looked to be more akin to a pout. Austin closed his laptop and scooted closer to her. He kissed her lips softly and answered, "I hope so."
