"This is going to be your best work yet."
She smiled at her publishing agent. Donney had always been kind about her work, but this sounded more like a promise.
"I hope so. I put a lot of my own heart into it."
He chuckled, flipping through parts of the manuscript. "I can see that." He pushed the pages away with a smug smile. "So do I get to meet him?"
She flushed. "No, definitely not."
He whined and pleaded for a few minutes until she finally caved.
