The house was full of laughter and loud jokes. Austin was the oldest of seven, and he had two loving parents. His youngest sister sat beside Abel and told her all about her day in school. There was a set of twins closer to Abel's age that would make dirty jokes, which caused the eldest sister to chide and smack them. The last two siblings seemed content talking to each other, occasionally asking Abel a question or two.

Towards the end of the night, Austin leaned over to his love. He whispered, "I told you they'd love you," and kissed his temple.
