The couple stared up at the sky, each pondering their own questions about life. It was the perfect night for stargazing. Now May, the nights were cool, but just warm enough to content a person with a simple sweater.
They didn't speak, but they held one another. They were both happy, happier than either had been in a long time. They were both grateful to their three months of happiness and wished for many more.
Neither had to say that though; they just knew.
