Meeting them

We arrived to a big building and Joel and Richard quickly got out.

"Just leave your things in here." Joel said once he was out.

"Okay." I said and got out of the car.

We walked inside and if I wasn't with them, I could've gotten lost! So many turns, halls and doors!

I followed them on a stage and there were some guys there.

They all turned when they heard us and came running towards us making me step away from Joel and Richard. "Joel!" they yelled engulfing him a huge group hug.

"We missed you!" one of them said.

"¿Como te fue? ¿Come estas?" a guy with beautiful green eyes said. He was pretty cute. They all are! They are all very good looking.

"I missed you guys too." Joel laughed. "And, it was alright. Not something I would want to go for, but it was pretty good." he said.

"Aw Joel. We're sorry. But I'm sure they are being well taken care of. " a guy said.

"Yeah... But guys look!" he said coming out of the circle and pulling me towards them. They all faced me and I just looked down tugging at the ends of my cardigans sleeves. "This is my sister Yamileth."

"You have a sister?!" they all said surprised.

"Uh yeah... I never told you huh? Well yeah! She is my sister. My twin sister actually." Joel said looking at me.

"Hola! ¿Qué tal? Me llamo Erick." The guy with the green eyes said sticking his hand out. I was about to step back like I did with Richard, but I stood there and put my hand in his. Just like Richard did, he put it up and kissed the back of it.

"Hola Erick." I said in a barely audible voice.

One by one they all came up to me and did the same as Erick and Richard. They would wither kiss the back of my hand or pull me into a hug.

There were so many, I forgot some of their names.

"Yamileth?" someone called. I turned around and saw Joel motioning for me to go to him.

"Are you tired? If you want I can ask someone to take you to the house so you can rest." he said when I got to him.

"No it's fine. I'll wait till you're done." I said not wanting to be alone in a place I don't know

"Are you sure?" he asked.

I nodded and gave him a small smile. I think it's time I stop hating him and give him a chance. I mean, it really wasn't his fault my parents hated me... Right?

"Okay." he said heading with his friends.

While Joel was practicing his part with a group, I was sitting down playing around with my phone until someone sat next to me. I slowly glanced over to see who it was and I saw Erick.

"Hola." he smiled at me.

"Uh Hola." I answered softly.

"Venga mami no tengas pena. No te vamos a morder" he joked around. At least, I hope he was just joking.

I just smiled and he continued talking. We talked for a while and eventually Yoandri, Johann, and Christopher came... I think that's their names.. Probably mixed them up. Oh whale... Shhh. Don't tell them..

We were getting to know each other, and by getting to know each other I meant, they would ask me questions after questions all at once. I couldn't even answer one cause then another question would have been asked.

"Guys guys guys! You're scaring her! Give her some space!" Yoandri said when we saw me slowly sinking in the chair and flinching after each question.

They all muttered a sorry and settled down. "It's fine." I said looking down.

They started asking again only that this time it was one at a time. They each asked 2-3 questions and I answered them.

Turns out Joel came to Miami to audition for a singing competition "La Banda". So far he has made it to the final 8! Joel, Yoandri, Johann, Jaime, Erick, Christopher, Richard, and Zabdiel have all made it this far. Sunday is the next live show. It is currently Thursday so they don't have much to practice.

They all finished practicing for the day and they decided to go out to eat.

We all got in a van and they talked amongst each other while I was on my phone. Every now and they would be asking me something, but then it'd go back to them.

We arrived to a small diner and the guys ordered. I told them I wasn't hungry so they didn't really make me get anything. Soon enough they all got their food and began eating. I was mainly taking with Erick the whole time since he sat next to me and Yoandri sat on the other side of me so pretty both of them were the ones I would mainly talk to.

Once everyone was finished eating, the guys started heading back to their place.

They all hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek and we said bye.

"So what did you think of the guys?" Joel asked me as we enter the house.

"They are all very nice and funny." I said with a light smile. "Oh and they are also pretty cute!" I laughed.

"Oh my god." he laughed. Then his laughter died down until he was just giving me a small smile.

"What?" I asked as to why he got somewhat serious.

"Nothing." he said. "It's just... I haven't really seen you smile. I actually don't remember the last time I saw you smile."

"Yeah. Well, you know what they say. 'There is always a first for everything'." I told him looking down.

He nodded and we stayed there in silence for a while until I started heading to my room.

"Goodnight. " I heard him say.

I stopped and turned to look at him.

"Goodnight." I answered back and went into my room.

I changed into black sweats and a white long sleeve and redid the bun on my head. I brushed my teeth and turned off the lights leaving me in darkness. Just how I like it...
