Shut up and Kiss me

Amidst all the flashing cameras, lights and screaming fans, all they could see were each other. The gleaming eyes, pursed lips and blushing cheeks, anticipating the sound of the famous busina ng truck ng basura. Each drew closer to each other, faces closing the distance, feeling each other's heavy breaths in between each glance.

Then the siren sounded. Once.

"Bumusina na ba?"

"Wala pang busina, oy!" Lola Tini exclaimed.

Twice.

"Wala, wala kaming nadidinig dito!" Bossing added.

"Parang wala naman busina eh."

"Ako din wala akong naririnig."

Thrice.

"Divina! Divina! Yung bumubusina hindi na broadway yun. Mga magulang mo na yon!" Lola Nidora warned.

The resounding siren kept going as their lips were just a centimeter apart.

"Okay lang, ilapit ko na?"

"Sige."

And then it happened. Alden and Divina's first on screen kiss. But they both felt like they were out of character.

"Alden, ano yung ginawa niyo kanina?"

Miss Jenny Ferre asked.

"Uhm.."

"Di ba yun nga yung iniiwasan natin? Lalo na nakakahiya sa parents ni Maine."

"Pero, Miss Jenny. Nag okay naman po si Maine."

"Nakita mo bang nagulat siya?"

"Kahit naman po ako eh. Hindi ko po talaga sinasadyang mapalapit sa lips niya ng ganun. Sa cheeks po talaga dapat."

"Pero nangyari na eh. Alam ko namang may namumuo na sa inyong dalawa--"

"Ay wala po Miss Jenny!"

Rj denied, even though it was so obvious that they him and Maine already have mutual feelings for each other.

"Wag mo na i-deny Alden. Okay lang naman yun sa akin eh, sa aming ng Dabarkads. Ang inaalala ko eh si Maine. Alam mo namang hindi pa siya sanay sa ganyan di ba? Saka mag 8 months pa lang siya sa showbiz."

"Naiintindihan ko po Miss Jenny."

"At saka yung parents ni Maine ang iniisip ko. Kung may alam man sila about sa inyong dalawa, which I'm sure meron, ipaliwanag mo yung nangyari. Very protective sila kay Maine, alam mo yan."

"Opo Miss Jenny. Will do po."

Then, Reeza, their floor director walked into the room where Miss Jenny and Alden were talking.

"Miss Jenny! Grabe po sa social media oh. Trending na trending yung unang kiss ng dalawa! Nagkakagulo na sila!"

"Patingin nga! Ay oo nga. Alden oh tignan mo."

"Oo nga po Miss Jenny eh. Ang daming screenshots at edited pics."

"Lagot ka Alden! Hahaha." Reeza teased.

"Sigurado may bashers nanaman ito. Tsk. O sige na Alden, puntahan mo na si Maine. I'm sure nabigla yun." Miss Jenny gestured for Rj to come out of the room whilst they kept looking at all the posts in social media.
