DEMI'S POV
"Impressive right? Oh, and please call me Demi. Miss Lovato is way too fancy."
She just looks at the car and swings her bag back and forth. The wild wind blows her curly mane to and fro.
I try to smile, but it's watery. I hold back my tears and push the demons into the back of my head. I have to Stay Strong. For Charley.
"Well, let's go now!" I try to say cheerfully and open the door.
"This is called a limousine. Only really famous people use them, or they can be used for special occasions."
I attempt to smile at her and put the key in the ignition because my chauffeur and body guards said I should come alone and drive here too.
"Let me warn you, my life is very different than a normal person's. I am a celebrity."
She just looks out the window.
"A celebrity is a really popular person that a lot of people know. These people get to go to special events and are loved, and hated, by a lot of people."
She still gazes out the window.
"This means that I have to talk to people, I have a lot of money, I have to have guards, and these rude people called the paparazzi, I call them the paps, run around and try to take pictures and ask me questions."
Poor little Char sends waves of fear through her face and looks around frantically. Before I know it, she's passed out. I admire her long, brown hair and how thin she is.
No. I can't have a relapse. If I start my eating disorder again, who knows what would happen?
I take a deep breath and slowly start driving.
I slowly start Locked up tight
Like I would never feel again
Stuck in some kind of love prison
And threw away the key, oh, oh
Terrified until I stared into your eyes
Made me start to realize
The possibilities
So, so

I'm gonna love you like I've never been broken
I'm gonna say it like it's never been spoken
Tonight, tonight I'm letting go, go, go, go
I'm gonna give it like it's never been taken
I'm gonna fall like I don't need saving
Tonight, tonight I'm letting go, go, go, go

So played out
The same lies with a different face
But there's something in the words you say
That makes it all feel so real

I'm gonna love you like I've never been broken
I'm gonna say it like it's never been spoken
Tonight, tonight I'm letting go, go, go, go
I'm gonna give it like it's never been taken
I'm gonna fall like I don't need saving
Tonight, tonight I'm letting go, go, go

No need for me to run, run, run
You're making me believe in everything
No need to go and hide, hide, hide
Gonna give you every little piece of me

I'm gonna love you like I've never been broken
I'm gonna love you like I've never been broken

I'm gonna love you like I've never been broken
I'm gonna say it like it's never been spoken
Tonight, tonight I'm letting go, I'm letting go, go
I'm gonna give it like it's never been taken
I'm gonna fall like I don't need saving
Tonight, tonight I'm letting go, go, go, go

I feel tears start to drip down my face as I sing. I pull out the key as we pull into my driveway.
"Charley, honey, wake up." I whisper in my little girl's ear and unbuckle her.
Apparently she's not sleeping, because she swiftly unbuckled herself and leaps out of the car.
I sigh and we walk inside.
