Chapter 27

Tarah POV

"Adam?"

Adam turned around

"Hi baby" he said with a smile

"What's going on, I thought you had bussiness to take care of?"

"I got, done early and I thought I was to late for you're appointment so I had Mcgill and Larson over"

Mcgill looked at me and winked

Charlie came around the corner

"What's he doing here" said Adam standing up

"He went to my appointment with me, since you didn't bother going"

"I had work, I already told you that!"

"I wasn't gonna go alone"

"Tarah, I think i'm gonna head home" said Charlie

"Alright, I talk to you later"

He walked out and I walked to the kitchen

"Why are they here" I said in a whisper

"I was talking about the wedding, Mcgill and Larson are going to be my best man"

"I hope Charlie is one of them" I said crossing my arms

"Hell no"

"Yes he is Adam, either Charlie or no one"

It was silent

"Fine..."

I smiled and kissed him on the cheek

"Adam, we'll see you at practice" yelled Larson walking out

Adam waved back at them and they walked out

"You have hockey pratice?"

"Yeah"

"Oh...okay"

I walked to the living room and Adam pulled me up towards him

"So Mrs. soon to be Banks, what is our little child" he said smiling

How am I suppose to tell him

"It's a surprise, I want to think of a cute idea to tell you"

He rolled his eyes

"I have to go"

"Where are you going?" He said

"I have things to do for the wedding and so do you"

"Oh yeah"

We both got our car keys and walked to our cars and drove diffrent ways. My first stop was Bombay's house

I walked up to his door and knocked and a little girl anwsered

"Hi, is Gordan home?" I asked with a smile

"Come on in" she said holding my hand and taking me to him

"Grandpa, someone is here to see you"

He put down a newspaper and saw me standing there holding the little girls hand

"Leah, why don't you go play"

Aww her name was Leah too

She hugged my feet and walked out

"She like's you"

"Who is  she?"

"She's my granddaughter"

"She look's just like you"

"I didn't even know she exsisted till this morning, when someone dropped her off"

It was silent

"What are you doing here?" He asked breaking the silence

"Um, I wanted to apologize...for everything. I wanted to ask if you'll still be my gaurdian?"

I could tell he was thinking about something

"Tarah, I want to apologize for how angry I've gotten lately. I should of never ripped up you're adoption papers. I will be happy to be you're legal gaurdian"

He got some papers out

"I had copies" he said smiling

He sighed and handed me the pen and I signed too

We both smiled and hugged each other

I giggled "Dad, will you walk me down the aisle"

I said with tears in my eyes

"Of course" he said kssing my head

I wiped my tears

"Um, so you're going to be a grandpa to a beautiful baby boy and girl"

I pulled out the sonogram and he had tears running down his face

"You're having twins"

I nodded with tears running down

"We were going to name the girl Leah and the boy Bentley"

He smiled and kissed my forehead

"I have to go talk to Connie, so I talk to you later"

"Tarah, before you go, will you be back on the team?"

I nodded and smiled

I waved bye and bye to Leah

"Bye Leah"

"Bye bye" she said giving me a hug back

I walked out the door and headed to Connie's
