Chapter 23

Tarah POV

After dinner, Adam and I search for our rooms which was kind of hard because this place is huge!

"Finally" Adam said opening the door

I smiled and out my stuff down by the bed

"Well I better go search for mine" I said teasingly while walking out the door

"No way" said Adam picking me up bridal style and putting me on the bed

Adam smiled and kissed me and my belly

"Adam" I said stroking his hair

"Hm"

"You're going to be a great dad"

He smiled and kissed me goodnight

I got on my phone and checked things before I went to sleep, I had three missed calls from Connie and 4 text messages

Tarah, you were suppose to text me after you landed, everything okay? ~Charlie

It's me again, games are about to start, wish you where here! ~Charlie

TARAH! WHERE ARE YOU!!! ~Connie

It's me once again, why aren't you answering my texts...anyways we lost by 5, it was a pretty bad game, Coach was a mess and everyone was lost without you. Come home soon! ~Charlie

I totally forgot to text Connie, she is going to hate me! I plugged my phone in and snuggled up against Adam's warm body and went to sleep

The next morning Adam was planned to go shopping with his father while I went with his mother, it's really weird I wasn't told about this

"So, where are we going" I asked Lizzie

"We are going shopping"

Adam POV

My mother had to stall Tarah so me and my dad can pick out an engagement ring

"Alright son, look at this one"

I looked at the ring, it was beautiful

"That's perfect" I said smiling

I looked at the price

"I can't afford that"

My dad looked at me

"Well then I'm buying it" he said smiling

We asked for assistance and walked out
