Chapter 10

Tarah POV

( phone conversation with Banks)

T- Banks

B- Tarah what's wrong

T- Come to the lake...please

B- On my way

(End of conversation)

I walked to the lake and waited

*10 minutes later*

"Hey Tarah, you okay"

I turned around and had tears falling from my face

"Tarah, what's wrong"

"I miss my parents so much"

He hugged me

"Hey, it's okay"

"I can't go back to Charlie's place, we had a huge fight"

"Tarah, I thought you guys were good"

"We were, until he started ignoring me"

"Come on, you can stay at my place"

He grabbed my hand and we walked back to his house

Charlie POV

Tarah hasn't been home for hours, she probably were skating, she'll be back later, but  I should text her

(Conversation, Charlie- C)

C- Hey, you should probably come home, it's getting late"

(End of conversation)

I ended up falling asleep and didn't notice Tarah coming home

Tarah POV

Adam and I walked to his house, he was still holding my hand

"Sorry"

His cheeks turned red and he let go

I looked at him and grabbed his hand again and smiled

"Alright my parents aren't home so we will be okay"

We walked through his big glass door into his living room, his house is huge! I felt my phone buzz and I had two messages, one from Charlie and one from Coach

C- Hey, you should probably come home, it's getting late

(Coach- CB)

CB- Hey, I got the papers ready for you to sign, I'll bring them to the game tomorrow and they said you should be able to move in with me in a couple months, I'll see ya tomorrow, get some sleep

"Everything okay?"

"Oh yeah, it was coach, he told me to get some sleep because uh we uh play you guys..."

"Oh yeah.."

We stood there in silence still holding hands until he dragged me to the guest room

"So this is where you can stay"

"It's beautiful"

He smiled and started to walk out the door

"Adam.."

He stopped

"Thanks for doing this"

He turned around

"No problem"

He smiled and closed the door behind him

I fell into bed and went right to sleep
