"Mama,mama where are you I'm scared mo-" my small childish voice was interrupted by the screams of my mom I turned around ever so slowly to see her in the grasp of a titan "Y/N RUN, RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE DON'T DISOBEY ME, KEEP ON LIVING" my eye's where wide this was to much to take in for a 10 year old. Ok let's see my town is being invaded, I'm not near those walls in fact I'm a good distance from the safety of the walls, my mother is in the hands of one of the monsters of this beautiful yet ever so cruel world, and I'm to weak to do anything. I stood still just starting wide eyed then I heard them! A new sound came into my ears, they sounded like-like horses I looked back to see people riding horses coming this way, "Y/N I SAID RUN, LIVE ON YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE WORLD, YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE! GO" I see my mom holding the titans mouth open "NO MOMMY, NOT WITH OUT YOU" the warm tears slid down my cheeks and my vision was getting blurry as reality hit me hard...this was my end. I fell to the ground as I stared my mother in the eye's, I looked to the left to see a peace of wood I will no longer be the weak little girl, now I'm the heroine that saves the day just like in the book's mommy reads to me. I grabbed the peace of wood and ran up to the titan hitting it in the foot repeatedly. "You.Will.Not.Eat.My.Mom.You.Hear.Me" I was beating it in syllables because that was how a parent beats a child right? "y/n I-it's to late honey I love you" blood covered me not just any blood m-my mother's blood the titan bit her as it fell but not to bad just to cut open half her stomach "mommy" I said running over to her "y-y-/n honey...it's to late I'm going to pass on to the other side" I looked at her and mumbled "like daddy" only for her to nod "NO YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME Y-YOU PROMISED ME THAT YOU'LL ALWAYS BE HERE YOU CAN'T BREAK THAT PROMISE Y-YOU SAID YOU'D NEVER LIE TO ME! THIS RIGHT HERE IS LIEING MOMMY, AND PEOPLE SHOULDN'T LIE REMEMBER YOU TOLD ME THAT SO WHY?! WHY DID YOU LIE TO ME" soon a smoking man walked up to me (hehe smoking hot I'm sorry) "hey brat you ok" I looked up to be greeted by grey eye's "oh I don't know my mother is JUST DIEING IN MY HANDS DO YOU THINK I'M OKAY" he looked at me wide-eyed then my mom spoke up "y/n that's not nice he saved your life, s-sir can I know your name" he looked at me then to her "Levi" "ok Levi will you take care of my daughter for me, please keep her safe for me, as my last wish" he only nodded "I promise to keep her safe for as long as I live, I swear to you that she will be in safe hand's" my mother smiled and her eyes wonder over to me "y/n don't cry" I wiped my eyes "are you mad, don't be mad if I cry" that reminded me of a song that my mom sang to me when my father passed I slowly grabbed her hand as I heard others approach and slowly sang

'Cause everyday it's sinking in,and I have to say goodbye all over again,you know I bet it feels good to have the weight of this world off your shoulders now I'm dreaming of the day,when I'm finally there with you .Save a place for me, save a place for me I'll be there soon, I'll be there soon.Save a place for me, save some grace for me I'll be there soon, I'll be there soon" I felt her hand let go and her eyes lose its normal happy and cheerful look,now they just looked....dead."Levi we should get going bring the girl we can't leave her here it's not safe, we'll bring her back to the walls and put her in an orphanage pick he-" "no" I looked up at Levi "I'm going to keep her, she'll be safe with me" he started to pick me up when I stopped him "I can't leave mommy she wouldn't want to be left alone, or forgotten she's my mother I can't just up and leave her she carried me for nine whole month's". This lady with glasses put a hand on my shoulder "how about we take you're mommy with us and have a little funeral inside the walls okay sweetheart" "okay" I looked at her and smiled.

On the way to the walls the man named Levi let me ride with him. I felt sleepy so I dug my head in his chest "are you tired" I nodded "yes sir, you have a very calming heartbeat sir" he looked down at me then up again "thanks I guess"
."Oh and sir I'm sorry for hollering at you earlier I was just, just so mad at the world for taking what I had left" he patted my head and stroked my blood stained hair "it's ok, I understand just don't do it again" that was the last thing I heard before drifting off to sleep.
