As I stood on the crates I felt that very familar feeling as my heartbeat began to slow down, my breathing slowing down my presence started to become invisible to the average senses. As the process went on, bats began to leave the swarm as they had lost their sense of me. The swarm lessened, but the white bat continued leading the few remaining bats behind him. I gathered the strength of my ability, but its no use as they continued to get closer. I lifted my bat and released a swing at the white bat but missed, as the bat swooped out of the way. I tried and swung again but they swarmed around me bitting and screeching as I fall into the crate, in an attempt to defend myself from the attack. My mind was being pushed to the limits to keep the rest of the swarm peaceful but it was useless.  I started to lose my focus.

The entire warehouse erupted with the sound of screeching. I dragged my body across the crate, my face pointed downwards to avoid being bitten while reaching the edge. I stared down seeing the concrete ground and crates. I pushed my bat off first, but with the height it took a few seconds before it hit the ground. I thought for a second. Knowing I had no other way now, I gulped as I leapt off the crate fearing for my life as the ground approached me quickly. I braced myself as I landed on my feet, the shock from the fall had vibrated up my legs causing me to stumble and fall.

I quickly got to my feet, grabbed my bat and limped behind a crate. The bats began to swoop down to the lower sections of the warehouse. The bats continued rampaging while searching for me. I had thrown them into a full stage of confusion, some even attacking each other. While hiding I glanced at my watch, noticing the time is 7:46.

"Time's almost up," I said

I made my decision. I had to end this now. I crawled from behind the crates and got to my feet , and as if they were summoned, they all flew straight for me with the white bat still leading. The sound of the swarm was smothered by my increasing heartbeat beating in my ears. The situation looked terrible as I weighed my options in my head, and knowing I couldn't run with my legs in their current condition I began focusing my mind.

I  pushed my mind to the limits, and received a headache as the pain grew in my head. The swarm just disappeared as they began flying out of the upper windows of the warehouse. As more and more of them went away , I released a sigh of relief as the job was over.

With the bat in hand, I began my search for the exit, my eyes had gotten used to the darkness, which allowed me to find my way back with little trouble. I approached the door as something happened. A white flash crashed into my arm causing me to fall, as a sharp pain shot through my arm. Something was latched to my arm. A white flap continued hitting me in the face, while I used my other arm, I blocked my face. A cool feeling began running down my arm as the bat continued to bite harder, I shook my arm and pulled at its wings, trying to get it off me.

I looked over at my bat that had fallen when the bat smacked into me. I reached over, grabbing it and struck the bat until it detached from my arm. The bat fell to the ground motionless. I looked to my arm seeing the bloody bite marks left behind. Then back down to the bat twitching on the ground. Lifting my bat, I prepare to finish it, but before I could swing, the bat flied back up into the upper area of the warehouse.
