Chapter 15

Percy

I bubbled up with excitement as I packed my luggage, preparing for my flight. For a whole week, I'd be able to get out of this dorm room with the most disgusting guy ever (sort of like a young Gabe Ugliano) and visit my beautiful girlfriend, Annabeth. I was so excited for this surprise visit, I'd already informed her roommate Beatrice (apparently a newfound friend of hers) that I'd be flying in tonight, surprising her tomorrow. Beatrice informed me that she wasn't planning on going anywhere, she was supposed to be spending a day with Beatrice shopping, but, that was to be rescheduled. As I left the room, caught a cab and boarded the plane, every second I got more excited to see her.

Annabeth

"Wow!" I gasped

"I can't believe it's already spring break!"

"I know," replied Beatrice

Tonight me and Tris watched a romantic comedy, Tris' favourite. Way better than some chic flick, hated those. The dorm next door was having a spring break party and me and Tris were invited. It was a movie night, a chic flick (sigh), but there was also going to be some games and snacks, so I thought it'd be fun. Plus, I needed a break. The year was almost over, even if it seems a long ways away, this was a busy time in the year and I needed some time to just stop thinking. I planned to call Percy tonight but when I did, it went straight to voicemail. I frowned as I got no answer for the hundredth time. Where was he?

Percy

The flight was long. The whole 5 hours I couldn't sleep, the realization that I was in the air and Zeus could kill me at any second made me awake and alert. Even though I had asked my dad if he could request to Zeus not to shoot me down, since this was an important trip for a daughter of Athena (a.k.a the love of my life) I really did not want to die for just being in his territory. As the plane landed I had barely gotten an hour of sleep, thankfully no bags, so I'd look presentable in front of Annabeth. I hopped off the plane, running as quickly as I could, catching a cab to bring me to Annabeth's.

I made it to Cornwell, Ithaca, running up the steps to the dorms. I asked a few students where dorm 109 was and a short pretty Asian girl showed me the way, her cheeks blushing everytime she met eyes with me. Once I made it to the door, I stopped. Taking a deep breath, brushing down any lint on my clean blue jeans, white shirt that Annabeth always liked, I knocked on the door til' my knuckles ached.

Annabeth's roommate, Beatrice, opened the door, a look of confusion and excitement played on her face.

"Hi, I'm looking for Annabeth Chase?"

"You must be Percy," she said

"Know all about you, come on in. It's a pleasure to have you here and Beth will be stunned to see you. She's just in the bathroom, here, take a seat."

I sat myself down in their little quaint kitchen, the smell of delightful food wafting in the air.

"We were just about to have dinner, your welcome to join us. I'm sure Annabeth would be pleased."

"Pleased about what?" asked Annabeth, walking out of the bathroom in her pink bathrobe. She gasped as she locked eyes with me, her shock bringing a smile to my face. I took her in my arms as her friend Beatrice giggled with girly delight, leaving the two of us alone in the kitchen. She unwrapped her arms from my neck as she said breathlessly, "Percy...I-I can't believe you came here."

I smiled, "I would only come this way to see the girl I love." She giggled, a smile played across her face as she wrapped her arms around my neck, my hands on her waist, as we stood there. Annabeth played her lips across mine, a velvety soft dance that lined my cheeks, brushing up against my upper lip. We grew more passionate, her focus on my lips as she moved a bit to the side, leaning on the refrigerator. I continued to hold her by the waist as we continued kissing, her hands now moving to my chest for support. I became slightly breathless, as she too needed to gasp for air as we continued. Each stroke of her soft lips was melting my heart, creating a powerful warm feeling I could only describe in one word.........love.

Just as Annabeth grabbed me by the shoulders, bringing her closer to my body, Beatrice walked in, one hand holding her writing notebook, and the other a pen. As she looked up, astonishment brightened her cheeks and warmed her heart as this scene between two people had given her a new writing idea for her upcoming story. As Annabeth and I realized her presence and what she was doing, we both blushed a bright red. As quickly as possible, I dropped my hands away from Annabeth's hips, Annabeth letting go of my shoulders.

Beatrice then looked up innocently, as having no idea as to why we were looking at her, "My greatest apologies for the interruption. Carry on." she waved her hand aimlessly, encouraging us to continue. She smiled as she walked back into her office. In utter confusion, excitement and shock, I gave a sideways glance to Annabeth who immediately broke into hysterics. After a moment, I too laughed at the hilarious scene that just occurred.

Author's Note

Hope you're enjoying the story so far! I would like to let you know that the newest charcters mentioned in this story are dedicated and created by me to resemble real people.

Beatrice: You may know that this character's name is used in the series Divergent. Beatrice in my story is an Italian girl, loves writing, loves cooking and is great friends with Annabeth. Her nickname, Tris is also used in this book since Beatrice can be a tedious name to write over, and over, and over. Beatrice is a resemblance of me in real life for her love of writing and culture. Also, I'd love to be Annabeth Chase's BFF anyday.

Toby: Toby is based on the character Tobias Eaton from the series Divergent. Only difference, everything. Toby is lazy, treats woman and objects horribly, is a young version of Gabe Ugliano (Percy's past stepfather who was then killed by Medusa's snakes-pretty legit) exept for his charming good looks.

short, pretty Asian girl: This is dedicated to my dear friend 1612love, who is a huge fan of Percy and if she ever did meet him in a hallway at school, she probably would blush to death.

For anyone interested in having their name mentioned in this book or any ideas, thoughts or character names, comment! All credit and dedication will be given to you! And don't worry! More relatable characters will be including in this story, even if their moments are short.
