Chapter 9
Percy
I had a whole day planned for me and Annabeth in Greece. The two of us first sat in the cave, talking and kissing as we marveled at the caves beauty.
After half an hour exploring, Annabeth and I left the cave to explore above ground. Annabeth's jaw dropped as she marveled at all the beautiful architecture. The date was simply perfect.
I then took her to a restaurant nearby. We hadn't had lunch together since we were in Rome, and that ended off on a sad note. It was so good to have the old Annabeth back, the one who always corrects me and smiles when I make a mistake or say something silly. Lately, she and I have been a little tense and I'm glad that at least we can ignore that for one day. Annabeth smiled at me as we left the restaurant, heading back to our friends on the Argo II.
I was really happy that they let me spend a little time with Annabeth. Being in Tartarus wasn't exactly the best place for a date and I really needed to spend some quality time with her. So we all decided that we'd all spend a few hours with our significant other (or for Leo, his friends) since we'd spent a long time on the ship working on our plan to find the ancient roots of Greece.
Annabeth
I had so much fun with Percy today. We got to explore around Greece, ending off the date with lunch. I was so glad that we could finally spend real time with each other again. I really missed the old him. I even noticed that I was becoming my old self again with him. I never realized how much Tartarus had changed me.
Once we made it back to the ship, we discussed our plans for tomorrow. We were going to head off to Olympus,Greece and get started finding the roots of Olympus before Gaea does. This will help us unite with the gods so we can put an end to Gaea. I couldn't contain my excitement.

Sorry this is a very short chapter! I didn't have a lot of inspiration or thoughts for this chapter so it's shorter than some. I really dislike when I hit a road block but I hope you enjoyed!
