Right Place Right Time ~ unedited

Your slipping books into your locker at the end of the day. You look around the cleared out halls. It wasn't completely empty yet, but a ton of students had already left. You sigh content with your much lighter bag, you untangle your head phones and plug them into your device.

You stand still, scrolling through songs as you place the ear buds into your ears. You brace yourself against the cold metal door and hear your favorite song slowly leak into your ears. You unawarely start taking slow steps forward still scrolling through your song list.

You slip your phone into your bag right as something collides into you, its force knocks your feet out from under you and you feel your butt hit the cold floor the same instant the redness hits your cheeks. You lift your bag off your shoulders and place it on ground beside you.

Placing your hands on the floor you push yourself up and balance yourself. "Ouch!" Your sudden movement ripped the headphones out of your ears. The sounds around you instantly flood your ears. "Ok I guess you don't need help up." The guy who knocked you over said.

"Sorry I didn't hear anything," you said gesturing to my headphones on the floor. "What did you say?" You shook your head before putting a smile on your face. "Nothing important, I'm Tyler." He stuck his hand out and you laughed/scoffed. He took his hand back and shoved them into his pockets

"Want some help?" He asked as you bent down to grab your bags and books. You picked up your bag and rested it on your shoulder while he handed you your books. "Thanks." You start to walk out of school, alone, when you hear loud - heavy - thudding footsteps race up behind you. Tyler hits your shoulder and you turn around.

"Ya?" You asked. He looked down at his feet and ran a hand through his hair. It took every part of you to not stare at him in his tight t-shirt. "Do you wanna ride?" Tyler finally spit out. You looked around, there weren't many cars left. "Why not?" He smiled, more like smirked.

He didn't say anything just took your hand and led you around to the side of the school wear there weren't any cars. Just his dirtbike. "A bike?" You question. Handing you a helmet, he gets on the bike. "Scared?" He taunts. "Not a chance." You spit back. He smiles before reving the engine. "Hold on tight."

Reluctantly you lace your arms around his torso. Without warning he takes off down the road, you can feel the tires gripping the pavement and then engine humming beneath you two. He takes a sharp turn and you tighten your grip. You feel his stomach move as he laughs.

You point out directions to your house and he skids up into the driveway. You slide off the bike, engine still warm, and take off the helmet. Handing it back to Tyler, he casually sets it behind him. "Thanks." You say before starting up your driveway. You don't get to far before he graps your wrist and pulls you into his chest.

Looking up at him, he holds your arms to his chest and bends his head down. He leans in and whispers in your ear. "Goodnight beautiful." You playfully slap his chest before walking up to your front door. You pull out your house keys, when he shouts from behind you. "Check your blue notebook!"

Your confused, but by the time you even think about questioning him, he's gone. Your curiousity gets the best of you and you race to your bedroom. You crash through the door and throw your stuff onto the floor. You plop on your bed and open your notebook. Frantically flipping through pages you get to the last page.

What you find written was unexpected and unbelievably adorable.
