Chapter 16, Say That You Love Me

Chapter 16 

Hunter and I sat in silence after that, slowly eating the satay chicken which Hunter had cooked amazingly; I tried to ignore every face that he gave me. 

‘Is that nice is it Princess, if I blink I’m afraid I’ll miss you eating it’.

Growling between gulps, I proceeded to ignore anything hunter had to say; again I didn’t feel like complimenting him no his cooking.  He would expect that therefore I wasn’t about to give him a compliment for anything.

After dinner, I was quick to leave the kitchen off to my shower.  I still didn’t want to even look at Hunter; he seemed to be acting like nothing had had happened.

That night in bed, well I never expected Hunter to even be the slightest bit friendly since he’d been ignoring me.  All snuggled up to the doona which I still regrettably had to share with Hunter, my eyes fluttered closed wanting to sleep before I was even comfortable.  Hunter decided to be the sweet romantic type for a few seconds of his life as his arm slithered around my waist, making him slide closer.

‘Hunter, if you do not remove that arm right now, I will make sure you regret it in the morning’.

Hunter yawned behind me, barely taking notice of my words, ‘just one night; please princess, if this isn’t good enough I’m sure my fingers could please you in other ways………..’

Huffing I pushed Hunter’s arm off, getting comfortable again after his interruption.  His hand soon enough slowly slithered yet again around my waist; ‘Hunter, what did I just say’?

Hunter’s finger slowly started rubbing just under my shirt line, the feeling was different, it not being often I’d ever let a guy do that.  My skin seemed to sizzle where Hunter was touching it; making me forget why I was mad again.

‘I think I just found a way past that hard exterior of yours princess……’

Snapping my mind back to what was really happening, I rolled away from Hunter kicking hard backwards hard where I thought it would hurt.

Hunter moaned in a pain for a second before leaving me be, I could hear him still close as his voice was only a whisper; ‘I know your weakness’.  Obviously I hadn’t kicked where I hoped as his painful moan didn’t last long at all.

Grunting I turned to shove Hunter away, seeing a big smirk playing on his lips.  ‘If I wake up to you being on my side of the bed, I will hurt you; and don’t think I will hold back’.

Hunter seemed to chuckle before placing his arm back where it was before, ‘you like it, don’t lie to me’.  Maybe I was getting too tired to fight Hunter as I yawned, feeling exhausted from a day of doing nothing. 

‘See you in the morning princess……..’

Snapping back with what felt like the last of my energy for now, I made sure to make it count.  ‘Just shut up and go to sleep Hunter’.

Waking up in my warm bed was always a welcoming sign, other than the obvious snoring I could hear behind me.  Hunter seemed closer than usual and now feeling his hand move slightly on my waist, I knew I had warned him to stay on his side of the bed.  

‘Hunter wake up, you jackass’!

Still no response from the almighty Hunter, well since he was so sound asleep; maybe I would show him why he should follow my rules more often…………

Slowly withdrawing his arm from my waist, I slowly sat up as not to wake the snoring beast.  Still snoring I couldn’t help but giggle at his innocent form; I was really going to enjoy this…..
