I examine this contraption for another two minutes.

Taking in every little detail.

Its structure, its bright outstanding color, it was just magnificent.

It was a work of art.

It was a pretty well developed creation if you ask me.

I didn't know much about bikes, I never even seen one for such a long period of time in front of me!

"It's an ARAC ZXS" he states with a proud grin.

What in the?.....

I stare at him blankly with a puzzled expression plastered across my face.

Once he realizes I'm staring at him he turns to face me and laughs.

I stay silent not bothering to change my current expression.

As I said before, I know nothing about bikes so what just came out his mouth was complete, plain, pure gibberish to me.

The only thing I know about bikes is that they're freaking awesome!

Yeah yeah yeah, I know what you're thinking.

The geek is actually interesting in something....cool!?

Oh my the horror!!!

Yes I find bikes cool I do not live in books nor a rock you know!

I also know that bikes are somewhat a chick magnet and a bad boy like 'Slade' is usually known for his bike.

But I've never seen him with it, he couldn't buy it just now.

That's totally not bad boy material.

You need to have a bike from the beginning, it's what you're known for.

According to some people, not saying it's correct, but it does make sense in a way.

Then again, he doesn't really have the money to buy a bike like that.

He works at a car-repair.

So it probably took him some time to save up all that money.

"Sorry, it's that your face right now is so priceless" he confesses.

I smile.

"Glad my face is funny to you Slade" I reply.

"I'm just teasing Grace" he states.

"I know" I laugh.

"So you just got it?" I ask pointing towards the bike.

He shakes his head.

"I worked extra hours just to get it repaired. It took me months, but it was worth it. Because I'm finally reunited with Velma" he beams patting the bike's seat.

I burst out into laughter.

"You named your bike?!" I question in amusement.

"Ha ha ha ha" he says dully with a playful eye roll.

"Yes I named her. She's a big part of my life. It was a gift" he informs.

My laughter dies down.

"From?" I ask.

"Mom" he mumbles looking at the seat placing his hand up and down at the smooth looking material.

I frown.

"I'm sorry" I say walking up to the bike myself.

"Me too" he agrees lifting up his head so our eyes could meet.
