Forbidden

Chapter 7

Ashlyn's POV

I got everything done around the house so Adam wouldn't be mad at me especially since I won't be able to do it all for a day. He always wants everything done around the house. It's really annoying that he expects me to be the only one but hopefully I won't be dealing with it for much longer. I know I almost have enough money to make sure I can get away from him and stay away. I won't want him knowing where I'm going. The only bad thing is that he'll know where my dance studio is. I can't really see him going there though. He's only been there once and he complained about it the entire time. That's not surprising for him. He complains about everything. I'm pretty sure the only time he's actually happy is when he makes me have sex with him or he's having sex with someone else. I'm sure it's sad that I'm happy when he cheats on me so I don't have to be with him. I'm sure people would just say to leave him because I'm not happy. It's never that simple with him either. I know he'll be angry. He'll probably try to figure out where I go. I'm sure he won't let me have any of my money out of our shared bank account. Not that I'll really care about that once I can get away.

I woke up to my alarm going off. I'm surprised I haven't got woke up yet. I rolled over and saw that the other side of the bed is empty again. I can't help but smile a little. I love being able to wake up and him not be here. It's nice not having him home the past couple days. I'm sure he's with one of the nurses. I really don't care. I smiled a little before getting out of bed. I grabbed some make up and things to do my hair, sliding them into my dance bag. I doubt he'll notice some of it missing. I hurried up getting dressed. I'm sure I'm running a little later than usual since I had to find all that this morning. I grabbed my bag and keys before walking out to my car. I hope today goes well. I feel like it will though.

When I got to the studio I saw Harry and Sam already there. They were standing by the door talking. I feel like I should just give them an extra key so they're not always standing outside waiting for me. I feel a little bad about it. Usually I'm earlier than them but I had to grab a couple extra things this morning. I noticed Harry smile a little bit as I walked over, unlocking the door. I walked back to my office, setting everything down. I grabbed a couple bottles of water before walking to the studio we always use. I can't help but feel a little nervous. I guess it's because of mine and Harry's date later. I still can't believe I agreed to go but I should do what makes me happy. I mean every time he touches me I get butterflies in my stomach which is something I've never had with Adam.

Once practice was over Sam left without really saying anything. I'm guessing he has something to do. That's the only time he leaves like that. I noticed a small smile start to play on Harry's lips as he walked over to me. He moved a piece of my hair away from my face, "Where am I picking you up for our date later?"

"Here. I don't want to risk Adam being home."

He looked at me a little confused, "Doesn't he work nights though?"

I nodded, "Yes. It's just that I haven't exactly talked to him since what happened so I don't know if he's really working tonight or not."

He nodded, "I'll pick you up about five, beautiful."

I can't help but smile as he kissed my cheek before walking out. I've never had a guy be this nice to me. Well maybe I have but I just forgot because of Adam. Adam was the first boyfriend I had though. I'm not happy with him though. I haven't been happy since we moved in together. That's when everything changed. I just hope that Harry doesn't ask anything about Adam and I. Tonight should be about us. I just need to make it through the day first.

After I was done teaching my one dance class today I made sure they all had a ride home. They're all younger still. It was my 8-10 year old group. Their parents don't always stay here. I'm fine with that. I understand that they have other things to do. After I knew everyone was gone I walked back to my office, grabbing all my things out. I grabbed my hair and make up stuff before sitting in front of the mirror I have on the back of my door here. It didn't take me very long to finish my hair. As I was finishing that up my phone started going off. I don't even know who it could be. I got up, picking it up off my desk. I saw Adam's name across the screen. I rolled my eyes before answering. I don't want to deal with him right now. I know he'll probably come here if I don't. He mumbled, "Why haven't you been home?"
