CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT – 1

*VINCE PAOLO’S POV

“Hey!” that the only word that came out from my mouth the moment I open the door and saw Megan.

I’m not expecting her to be here in my condo unit. I don’t even have any idea where did she know my address.  She only looks at me and force to smile.  I don’t know how to react; should I smile and let her come in or just shut this door that I am holding? This girl in front of me is the reason why Maddy is hurt. I am certainly aware of that fact but, maybe Megan has her reasons why she’s her. She wouldn’t be here if isn’t important, maybe she’s here for something. Something I need to know. So, despite the fact that she hurts Maddy I will still welcome her in.

“You’re here?” I asked her. She bends down her head before she speaks.

“I have something to tell you and it is important.” I can see it in her face that she’s sincere.

“Okay! Let’s talk inside. Come in.”

(A/N: Too much with the “english” my nose is bleeding na…)

Pagkapasok ni Megan ay dumiretso sya sa living area, kung saan nandoon si Jonas na pa cool na naka-upo.

“Ohh.. Megan, The Mistress. What the hell are you doing here?” Pang-aasar sa kanya ni Jonas ng makita sya nito.

“Nandito ako para hindi manggulo. I have something to tell you.” Palipat-lipat ang tingin ni Megan sa amin ni Jonas. Pati kami ni Jonas nagkatinginan din.

“What is it?” tanong ni Jonas. Nagpakawala muna ng malalim na hininga itong si Megan bago magsalita.

“I know ako ang may kasalanan sa lahat ng gulo.” Panimula ni Megan.

“Good thing you know!” singit naman nitong si Jonas.. Parang inis pa rin ang isang ‘to ah dahil don sa hindi natuloy nyang love making session.

“Pero gusto ko nang isa-ayos ito.” Pagpapatuloy ni Megan.

“You want to fix it, really?” I can’t stop myself not to doubt her. Di ko kasi ma pin point kung nagda-drama ba sya o totoo ang mga sinasabi nya.

“Really, kaya nga ako nandito para humingi ng tulong.” Sagot ni Megan. Nagkatinginan lang kaming tatlo for how many second.

“Hindi ko naman kagustohan ang lahat na nangyayari. It was my father’s plan; he threatened Charles that he will harm Maddy if he won’t be with me. My father loves me so much that he’ll give me anything I want or anything I ask. Minsan kasi nasabi ko sa kanya na gustong-gusto ko si Charles pero may mahal na itong iba. I didn’t expect that he’ll do such thing for me.” Saysay ni Megan. Now I understand everything. Alam ko na may nililihim itong si Charles, he just wanted to protect Maddy.

“Now that you got want you want. Bakit gusto mo pang e fix ito?” tanong ni Jonas.. tsk ang putik parang si Boy Abunda ang dating ng isang ‘to.

“I love Charles and it’s hard for me seeing him suffer. And besides I don’t know how long I will be able to live here, in this Earth to exact. I have my sickness and I have decided to undergo an operation. The operation is 50-50, I might live longer after or die after the operation. Ma iiwan ko lang din si Charles, kaya bago ako mawala sa mundong ito at least man lang may nagawa akong tama. At kung sakaling mawawal man ako, payapa ang kalooban kong pumunta sa ibang mundo dahil alam kong masaya ang taong mahal ko.” Malungkot na sabi ni Megan. May sakit pala sya, I didn’t know about that. I feel pity for her, kasi kahit papaano na iintindihan ko sya.
