Narration

From there on out, Arabella didn't question anything about what Harry had told her. She kept quiet when she heard him arguing on the phone and often left the room the second his phone began ringing. She was too afraid to ask what was going on and was even more afraid of Harry's answers. She was never one to keep her mouth shut in times like this, and doing so proved to be an extreme difficulty.

Harry on the other hand noticed her behavior immensely. He was used to the sassy girl who would question every breath he took, and now all of the sudden she was quiet and submissive. He wondered what was really going through her head about everything. Did she really forgive Harry? Or was she just trying to get out of the conversation? Harry wanted to asked her many times but he just never had the time to start a full on discussion of said topic.

He was beginning to have to work longer. Paperwork would pile up and many times he didn't even leave the office to eat dinner with Arabella. Peace treaties had been his main focal point this week and all he wanted to do was tear every single one up, each asking for more benefits than the next. News was spreading that Ferocious and Savage would be looking to ally with each other, which frightened many other gangs.

Harry's main concern was getting those two brothers to at least have a decent conversation with him. The last time they talked, Luchesi nearly pulled a knife on them, and the only thing they got accomplished was that Ferocious was willing to meet with them again. What Harry couldn't wrap his head around was the fact that Seth and Elliot refused to talk about Arabella.

During that entire meeting, they never once asked Harry if she was okay, if she was being fed, any basic question you would think a loving family member would ask. Harry brought Arabella up at many occasions during the meeting but the two seemed uncomfortable talking about it. Seth and Elliot knew that their deal with Harry was already locked into place and there was nothing they could do to stop it.

Seth always followed his fathers lead, take care of business and protect your family. Seth tried his hardest but he was only one person. Although Seth knew that doing both could land him in the exact position his father is in, he tried his hardest to make him proud. He knew that he could not keep the grudge on Savage for too long, considering that Elliot and himself were the ones that provoked it. Elliot on the other hand, was dealing with his own internal demons.

Both brothers missed there sister, neither can ignore that. They didn't want to talk about her, it hurt too much for either of them to discuss their decision. Seth and Elliot knew that soon they would need to pay a visit to Harry's house, and if they needed to do this, it had to be soon. They knew Harry was moving and they knew the exact reason why, and they wanted to be sure that Arabella knew as well.

Arabella knew something was going on. Harry had been acting different, Luchesi had been acting different, even Sophia was acting a bit strange when they talked on the phone. Everyone seemed to be tip-toeing around her and Arabella had no clue as to why. Again, she was refusing to bring up and topic surrounding what Harry had told her, so, much of her silence was in regards to that. She knew that soon Harry would start pulling away from her.

Everything seemed to be moving incredibly slow for Arabella, where as for Harry his time of happiness and peace was quickly fading away.

ARABELLA CASPER

It's been two weeks since Harry and I's talk in the office. I've been trying to keep my distance from him after everything that he said. I understand that what he had done in the past was the past, but sometimes even time struggles to heal pain.
