Chapter 30: Heat

- Avery's POV -

"So, you can sleep on the bed. Ok?" I told Mickey and he nodded

"But where will you sleep?" he asked and I thought for a moment. There was only one couch and Parker needed to sleep somewhere too. Maybe I should just sleep on the ground.

"I'll sleep on the ground or the couch, I'm not sure yet." I smiled and Mickey frowned

"That's not comfy. You can sleep with me" Mickey ordered and pointed to the bed

"It's fine" I said and he started to jump up and down on the bed

"Oh no. Be careful you can fall off" I cried and ran towards the bed

"Sleep. With. Meeee" he shouted as he jumped up and down

"Will you stop jumping?" I asked and he stopped to stick out his hand

"We have a deal" he said and shook my hand before plopping down on the bed

"Ok, you already have on your pajamas so hold on and let me change." I explained and he nodded leaning back into the pillows. I grabbed a soft pants and a tank top before going into the bathroom. I quickly changed and stepped back out.

"Mickey!" I yelled in surprise and the book that was floating in the air fell to the ground as Mickey looked at me with wide eyes

"Sorry! Please dont leave me like Cassie did. I won't do it again!" he shouted, tears forming in his eyes. I immediately rushed over to him and held his delicate hand.

"I'll never be scared of you. You don't have to hide your powers around me, I was just surprised." I comforted and he sniffed

"Really?" he asks softly

"Uh huh. I have powers too, so don't worry" I smiled when he grinned

"You do?! Can you show me them? Can ya?" he cheered and I chuckled

"Well, I don't have powers as cool as yours but most of my powers happen when I'm a wolf" I explain and he looks at me curiously

"My mommy- I mean Cassie told me about wolves. Will I be one too?" he asks and I nod

"Yep. One day you will" I grinned and he clapped his hands excitedly

"I can't wait!" he shouted and then leaned closer to me before yawning. I raised the blanket and covered us both before I laid down. He put his arms around me and snuggled closer to which I smiled at. Is this how being a mother feels like?

"Hey Avery" the door opened and I shushed the three guys

"Just put it in a corner..Mickey is sleeping" I whispered and looked down at him. His hair wa brushed away from his face as cheeks pressed against my stomach. His long eyelashes rested on his cheek with his lips turned up into a soft smile. He was just too adorable.

"Oh ok" Parker whispered and Alex, Ryan and himself placed the one bag each of them had in their hands on the floor.

"Goodnight" Alex said

"Bye" Ryan waved before they both left the room. Parker walked closer to me and smiled when he saw Mickey in the bed.

"Babe, where am I sleeping?" he asked and I raised an eyebrow

"I don't know...on the couch, or maybe here, there is enough room" I suggested and he shrugged before pulling off his shirt. I stayed silent as my eyes trailed over his muscular body. Then he unbuttoned his jeans, gosh my heart couldn't take this, so I shut my eyes. But, a few seconds later I gave in and opened my eyes a peek to see him pulling a basketball shorts over his boxers. He didn't put on a shirt though and I gave him a flat look.
