Not Exactly Romeo & Juliet.

Ever since I knew Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet was one of my favourite plays. The love they had, which many find stupid, was heartbreaking. For those who enjoy watching and reading it, you'll enjoy the book. Since the base of the plot is still there. And for those who hate the play and think its retarded, you'll enjoy this book as well. That's because this book completely differs from the play. Every single thing is different except for the names, possibly how it ends, and how both families hate each other.

Unlike the actual Romeo and Juliet, they hate each other, Juliet is a bad-girl, they pretend to be boyfriend-girlfriend, and Juliet is a broken girl with rainbow coloured hair. But there's a reason for everything. And things change.

I loved reading this story so much that I read it at least 2 times! The story was sooo entertaining that I couldn't think about putting it down. But due to parents and school, I had no choice but to.

So how does this story end? Do they both die, or love and live happily ever after? Find out for yourself.

Summary of book:

Romeo and Juliet; one of the most well-known romance stories of all time.

Forbidden love, dramatic deaths, beautiful poetry; what isn't to love about it?

Well, Juliet Callans could give you one reason she doesn't like it - the names of the two people the book is centered on.

Romeo and Juliet.

Sadly, she has the same name as Juliet, and because of poor planning, her enemy was named Romeo.

Why was he her enemy?

Well, the Callans family and the Millar family have never been very... Kind to one another. And that hatred has definitely been passed down to both Romeo and Juliet.

The two might share the same names as one of the world's most famous couples, but they definitely don't share the same love.

Or do they?
