I fell asleep that night hoping that the pain would melt away.

I woke up to a excited jack jumping on me

"ALEX SAID WE GET TO GO TO IHOP"

"the last thing you need is sugar." I sighed running my hand through my mess of curls

"BUT I LOVE CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES" he whined

"we know jacky, get out of the room so hazel can get ready." Alex chuckled from the door

jack huffed and walked out the door

I got up and threw on some clothes and ran a brush through my tangled hair .

I put 1 weeks worth of clothes in the bag because I was only supposed to stay for about a week.

I turned off my laptop and all that shiz and looked at my room .

I texted max a simple text.

"I'll miss you."

with that I turned my phone off and walked out the door.

we jammed out to pink Floyd in the car and we went to I hop .

"can I have a coffee please" I smiled at the waiter

"uh aren't you like 11?" she glared at me

"no I'm not hun but I can smash your head on the table 11 times if you don't give me my coffee" I smiled

"okay one coffee, one orange juice and , one coke" she smiled and ran away

"what's u with you and bad waitress experiences?"Alex giggled

"I don't even know" I chuckled

after I got my coffee I was less violent and we all ordered our food

"CHOCOLATE CHIP  PANCAKES YAAAAAAAAS!" jack screamed when she brought them to the table

a few seconds later the manager shows up
"sir if you can't keep it down we're going to have to ask you to leave."

"sorry " jack sighed and ducked his head down in shame
after that eventful breakfast we headed toward my home for the next week.

"this is it" I sighed

"you made the right choice hun" Alex pat my back

"look on the bright side, when you come home your birthday is really close." jack smiled

"oh what fun another year closer to my death bed" I smiled

"you make birthdays not fun." jack whined

we walked in and the lady at the desk smiled

"ah hazel nice to see you, we will take her and visiting hours are every other day from 6-7"

"I love you halo I'll miss you !" Alex hugs me tight

"I'll see you soon kiddo." jack hugs me

"I love you idiots." I chuckle as I get pulled into another room.

at first they take everything that could be a potential harm to yourself

-shoelaces are replaced with zip ties
-bracelets and jewelry are taken

"wait wait please don't take my necklace it was my moms, it's all I have left of her" I cry

"you'll see her in a week hun it's okay."

"no no no you don't understand she's dead." I cry

panicked the man let me keep it only if I could hide it well.

the first day we have to wear the hospitals sweats and if we behave we get regular clothes.

I was sent into a room with 2 beds the man said I would share with a girl named Mary Kate.

"you have 5 minutes before group therapy, settle in and I'll be back to take you." he smiled

"thanks" I sigh plopping onto the bed.

I wonder if Max was thinking about me.
