I spent the next day learning the Selected's names.
There was
Me
Aurora
Jane
Trisha
Sonya
Dorothy
Rebecca
Sienna
Sharon
Tracey
Melina
Samantha
Quinn
And Patsy.
Most of us stayed between our little groups and some of us just socialized with everyone.
For example Quinn was a very cheerful girl who talked with everyone here even Stella, no one could hate her.
Except today Luciano sent her home before lunch.
Her chocolate eyes teared up as she bid farewell to us, she hoped the one who would win the Selection would become the ruler our kingdom was waiting for.
The other girls were in freaking out when she left, wondering what made the Prince dismiss her.
Luciano was dismissing girls like flies, he shouldn't be leading anyone on. It will make it harder for girls to leave, so it's only right for me to leave.
But the problem was only he could dismiss us and he said no his father wouldn't allow it if I asked him to dismiss me.
What a jerk.
"Cassandra?" Luciano knocked at my door.
"Yes? What?" I asked feeling frustrated as I was doing a puzzle on my desk.
"Hello." He said walking in.
"Hi." I said flatly not looking at him.
"What are you doing?" He asked curious.
"What do you think?"
"Seems like a puzzle."
"Bravo! Captain Obvious takes another prize!" I said sarcastically
He laughed.
I shook my head and continued to fill the gaps in the puzzle and carefully inspected the pieces I connected together.
"Hey shouldn't you be on a date with a Selected?" I asked suspicious.
"Yeah, I'm here with you." He said looking at me as if I lost my mind.
"No I mean another one of the girls." I said more clearly.
"No." He said before helping me finish my puzzle.
"Hey you put it in the wrong space." I said pretending to be mad.
"You sure? Maybe the puzzle piece is just has a disability."
"Connecting Syndrome?" I said sarcastically.
"Sure!" He said laughing.
I shook my head and have him an amused look.
"Well I must leave. Princely duty calls."
"So staying in your room eating popcorn while watching cheesy movies?" I said joking.
"Totally." He said before smiling and leaning in to kiss my cheek.
He walked out of the door after that.
