ELOWEN

Elowen spooks when she hears that weird owl saying her name. How did he know that? She doesn't think that the hooded guy saw her following him. She feels intrigued by him. She had heard many rumours about him, none were good. He was being called hooded guy by the people in the village. They said that he uses dark magic and is a follower of the devil. He rides a black stallion, Hades horse of the night. That animal is apparently as dangerous as his owner. They always warn her to stay away from those two, she listened ofcourse. But when that mysterious black stallion stood in her garden, she couldn't resist the urge to follow it. She didn't knew that he was that dangerous horse neither did she knew who his master was, so she just gave in to her curiousity. She has always been that curious, atleast as far as she can remember. Her mother never really liked that about her. "It was to dangerous", she said and " a lady never behaves that way". Her mother wasn't there now so she just followed the black stallion to the little house. The house had something magical about it, she started thinking about stories she has read when she saw it. Elowen has always loved to read, always in her own little magical world. Nobody bothered her there or had expectations there. Elowen looked at the young man standing with his back to her. He seemed quite normal until he turned around and she saw the mask. At first she was afraid but she decided to let go of it and talked with the boy. He wasn't very talkative though. His voice was deep and Elowen couldn't deny the fact that he was quite attractive. She couldn't think to much about that ofcourse, he was dangerous. After that little talk, she had seen him walk by in a cloak. She got curious again and followed. Here she was now, frightened and without any protection or help. She couldn't go back so she tries to get closer. Once she gets to close, a crow attacks her so she stays on her spot. Elowen didn't hear anything and she didn't see much either. She ends up getting bored and takes her eyes off the hooded guy for a couple of seconds to look at her horse athena. Athena is just peacefully grazing but still keeping an eye on her owner. When Elowen looks back, she is shocked to see that the hooded guy and the owl are gone. Elowen looks a bit more closely, puzzled by the sudden disappearence of the 2. "You gonna keep staring at nothing?" a deep male voice says behind her. Elowen spooks and makes a little squealing noice. It's the hooded guy, which doesn't really help to sooth her nerves. He then does the last thing she expects to hear from the so called "monster". He chuckled. Elowen looks in awe at the guy. His black stallion wasn't wearing any saddle. They both look so chill, but it may be a facade for the dangerous monsters they are. "You gonna follow home or do you prefer to get lost Elowen?" the guy says. Elowen doesn't know how to respond. How does he know her name? Why would he care if something happend to her? Why does he want to escort her home? To that last question, she got an answer quickly when she sees the thick fog around them. She decides to follow. Athena walkes towards her, so she gets in the saddle. Hooded guy doesn't wait or looks back when he starts walking away. Elowen follows quickly, afraid to lose her way. They walk in silence for a while, at least until Elowen couldn't bear her questions anymore. "Why are you helping me?" she asks

"Cause I'm no jerk that leaves defensless woman in the forest at night."

"Are you gonna poison or use me for your rituals?"

"no", he sighs

"How old are you?"

"This isn't an interview", he says a bit ennoyed.

"I just wanna know.", she mumbles. "Can I just know 1 more thing?"

"Fine", he sighs again. They were almost home by now so she doesn't have much time to ask her question.

"What's your name? It can't be hooded guy.", she didn't really expect him to answer. Nobody really knew what his name was, so it was a shock when he said; "It's Ramon". He then walked away towards his own house.
