Ashlyn sighed as she flopped on her bed. It had been over two weeks since they started texting in the group chat. And to be honest? She hated it. Although she was certain that she was texting her classmates now.

Great.
She did her project by herself to avoid socializing. And now she was being forced. Well, not forced. She didn't block any of them yet. She didn't know why though. She just couldn't bring herself to do it. Her phone binged, and she looked at it.

Mr. Durable:
Ok.
It it is time.
To address the elephant in the room.

Ben-10:
?

Oscar the grouch:
The fuck?

Bad Twin:
?

Good twin:
Oh do you mean Logan?

Oscar the grouch:
Wait what's wrong with him?

Mr. Durable:
Le gasp.
Is Oscar showing concern for us :D
She does love us!

Oscar the grouch:
Don't push your luck
You fucking rat.

Mr. Durable:
Yes ma'am.

Bad Twin:
Can we get back to the Logan topic?

Good twin:
Ohhhh.
Worried?

Bad Twin:
No.
No.
I told you.
I'm straight.

Good twin:
You think.

Bad twin:
Stfu.

Ben-10:
Wait can't Logan see all this?

Oscar the grouch:
Yeah.

Mr. Durable:
SEE.
THIS IS WHAT I MEAN.
HE HAS BEEN AVOIDING US.
ALL DAY.

Oscar the grouch:
You ever think he just has other shit going on?

Bad Twin:
^

Mr. Durable:
BUT
BUT
BUT
BUT
HE'S BEEN ACTING WEIRD.

Good twin:
Idk I gotta agree with Aiden here.
He has been acting pretty weird.

Oscar the grouch:
How so?

Bad twin:
Hold up.
Why are we even telling her this
She doesn't even know us

Good twin:
Tyler stfu or I swear to god

Bad twin:
WHAT?!
ITS TRUE

Ben:
Can we get back to Logan please?
How's he been acting weird?

Good twin:
He's been avoiding us in school

Mr. Durable:
AND
AND
I SAW HIM WITH A BRUISE ON HIS CHEEK
HE SAID HE FELL DOWN THE STAIRS

Oscar the grouch:
SO MAYBE HE FELL DOWN THE FUCKING STAIRS!

Bad twin:
CAN WE JUST MOVE ON FROM THIS TOPIC? MAYBE HES GOT SHIT GOING ON!

Oscar the Grouch:
THANK YOU TYLER

Ashlyn sighed. God. What was wrong with them? Logan ignoring them? He probably had shit going on.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"

Ashlyn winced from the loud noise. Ok—who the hell was yelling like that? She turned the corner in the hallway and—

Oh.

That explained some things.

There stood a guy, with a shaggy looking bob cut, pulling on Logan's hair, and Logan trembling in his presence. Was he being bullied? Who was the other guy?

"What the hell is this?!" The taller guy repeated. "A 65?! Jesus—what are you even good for?!"

"I'm so sorry Barron!" Logan said frantically. "I-I-I had other stuff going on—"

"SHUT UP!"

Ashlyn's fists tightened as she watched Barron slam Logan's head into a locker. Hard.

"If you don't want a worse hit—you'll get my stuff done first. After all—in the more important one, yeah?"

Logan nodded. Ashlyn stood there in shock as Barron walked off. What the hell? What should she do?

Logan walked off, leaving Ashlyn alone with her thoughts.
