Hanni's POV

The next morning, I got up early for work and Minji got up with me. When she kissed me at her door, she had such a sexy sleepy expression that it took me a few minutes longer to leave than I should have, lingering on her lips, simply rubbing mine on her. I still needed to go home, shower, and get my uniform. Hopefully, Danielle had taken Milly out and fed her.

As I walked away from Minji, I said, "Danielle and Sunoo are picking me up right after work, so I'll see you as soon as I get back, okay?"

She nodded at me, her face turning serious.

Hey, I joked, take this time to get some sleep. Think of it as a long break from having to satisfy my insatiable sexual needs.

She put on a sleepy smile and signed; I love your sexual needs. Come back soon.

I gave a small giggle and exhaled.

I will do that. I love you, Minji.

I love you Hanni.

She smiled and I stood there, not wanting to say goodbye.

Finally, she playfully slapped me on the butt and said, Come on, go away.

I laughed softly and waved goodbye as I walked down the driveway, blowing her kisses before closing the door behind me. She stood there, hands in her front pockets, a small smile on her face.

God, I would miss her.

It was a busy day at the restaurant, which was good since the day went by quickly, and I didn't have much time to think about how much I was going to miss Minji... Damn, I was going to miss the entire town. It had only been a short time since I moved, but I already felt like this was my home. I missed my friends in Ohio, but I knew my life was here now.

Danielle and Sunoo picked me up right at three o'clock, I changed into jeans and a T-shirt in the bathroom and said a quick goodbye to Maggie and Norm. We got into my car, Sunoo at the wheel, Milly puffing softly from her carrier, And we set off.

"What did you guys do all day?" I asked, trying to distract myself from the ball of excitement that was already rising in my throat as we hit the road and drove further away from Pelion.

"We walked along the lake for a while," Danielle said. "But it was so cold that we didn't stay long. We walked across the lake to the town on the other side for lunch and visited some of the shops. It was very nice, Hanni. I can see why you like it here."

I nodded.

"Summer is beautiful, but autumn is-"

My phone rang, interrupting me. I frowned. Who could it be? Maybe Hyein?

The only people besides her who messaged me were sitting in the car with me.

I picked up my phone and saw that it was a text from an unknown number.

I frowned, clicking on it.

It said:

Is it too early to start missing you? Minji.

My eyes widened and I leaned back in my seat, surprised.

I held my breath.

Minji?

How the hell...?

I looked towards the front passenger seat where Danielle was sitting.

"Minji texted me!" said. "How is it possible?"
