Khadija POV

"My Aunt walked into the living room and spotted me watching Netflix on the couch. She looked at me with a curious expression and asked, "Khad, did you eat last night?"

I sat up and responded, "Yes, Aunt! I cooked noodles." I was still feeling a bit groggy from my nap on the couch earlier.

"That's good to hear!" my Aunt exclaimed. "We were all so exhausted from swimming on the 9th floor that we went to bed early."

As she spoke, she walked over to the fridge and filled a glass with ice-cold water. Then she sat down next to me and handed me the glass.

"Hey Khad, just wanted to remind you that we were planning to leave later in the afternoon, but the check-out time is 7 pm," my aunt said, making sure that I was aware of the arrangements.

"And by the way, Khad, I saw the handsome guy you brought here last time," she added with a hint of playfulness in her tone. My eyes widened in surprise and curiosity.

"Really? Were?, Auntie," I asked, eager to know more about the mysterious Mr. Dedhari.

"He was at the next door, probably when you were at work ," my aunt replied, giving me a few more details about the Mr. Lucian Max.

I was suddenly jolted out of my trance by an unexpected sight. I couldn't help but gasp in shock and cover my mouth with my palm. What was he doing here? I wondered. Was he a friend of Ahmed's?

My curiosity getting the better of me, I turned to my aunt and asked her the question that was on my mind. "Which room did he enter, Auntie?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

My aunt, who had been engrossed in the movie until then, turned to me with a knowing smile. "He entered the room next to ours," she replied, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Oh God, Ahmed's room was next to ours! As I processed this new information, my mind raced with questions.

Mr. Lucian Max is a mysterious person. "I think someone is following you, I must tell that guy!" my aunt said teasingly, making me burst out laughing.

"It's just a coincidence, Aunt. You're funny!" I replied, still chuckling. My aunt has a talent for matchmaking, even being able to identify twins from her observations.

"Okay fine! It's up to your gut now!" She said throwing her hand in the air as if she was being arrested and putting her hand in the air. She looks funny.

I sent a message to my boss, informing him that I won't be able to come to work at the moment because I want to spend some quality time with my boyfriend, Stanley.

I know it might seem selfish to some people, but it's something that I really need to do right now. Ever since Ahmed revealed to me that he's a prince, I've been in a state of shock and disbelief.

I mean, it's not every day that you find out that your boyfriend is royalty! I just can't wrap my head around it. Anyway, spending time with him seems like the best thing to do right now.

Something pops up in my notification

* New Friend request from Stanley Sheik Al Mactuom*

*Stan Almactuom is following you*

This makes my heart flattered.

Miss Danna was aware of my inability to make it to work at that moment. I was still waiting for Ahmed to contact me while my cousins were already awake and having their breakfast.

Last night was not what I had expected. When Ahmed and I finally had some time alone, I was taken aback by what he told me. I was so shocked that I couldn't think of anything to say besides "ahh" and "okay". We didn't have any special moment after that. We both silently returned to our rooms and before leaving, Ahmed kissed me on my cheeks.
