𝐋𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚 "𝐄𝐠𝐲𝐩𝐭" 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚

I have immersed myself in work for the rest of the day, not wanting to be seen by anyone, especially by him.

I feel like such an idiot. I physically ran away from the man.

I hope I looked good doing it though.

While watching the sunset from my personal backyard, I heard three knocks on my door, most likely that's my dinner.

Standing up and quickly making my way inside, I open the door and see that yes, my dinner is in fact here, but it's Nairobi bringing it to me.

"Nai! You're not supposed to be doing any heavy lifting!" I scold her, grabbing the tray from her hands and turning away from her, walking to my living room.

"You have got to be kidding me, Yana," Nairobi rolls her eyes while closing the door from behind her.

"I'm serious-"

"Egypt, relax! I'm completely fine, okay? Actually, if you would've shown up to sparring today, you would've seen that I won every match I dueled in," Nairobi said smugly, making my jaw drop open.

"WHAT?!"

"Oh stop it! You know I couldn't stay complacent for too long. I was ready as soon as those bandages came off," Nai smiled at me, taking a seat on the sofa across from me.

Taking the lids off of the spread, I inwardly moaned at the sight of one of my comfort meals.

"I told the head chef to prepare you something different, so you know, you'll actually eat," Nai scolded me, her face turning up in annoyance at my neglect.

"Oh, so that's why you came? So you can babysit?" I tilt my head while putting a spoonful of the deliciousness into my mouth, my eyes closing at the amazing taste.

"Yes! The fuck! How do you expect to fight if you haven't been fueling your body? And I'm the careless one," She rolled her eyes, picking up the second spoon and taking a bite of my food. "Oh wow, they did a good job."

"Right?" I laughed, shooing her away from my dinner.

After a couple of minutes of her watching me eat, she cleared her throat, making my focus go back to her.

"So, Prince Charming looked good during our fighting session," She smirked at me, leaning back on the couch and getting comfortable.

"Did he do a good job?" I asked, my heart skipping a beat at the mention of Roman.

"Maybe if you talk to him he could tell you himself," She rolled her eyes, a knowing smirk coming on her face.

I scoff and continue to take bites of my dinner, chewing at least fifteen times before I swallow.
