I went to Gressier, Haiti from June 5th - June 12th with my youth group and we raised $50,000 to be able to take our whole group and it was just amazing!! Haiti was just absolutely amazing. It was indescribable. It was extremely hot and you were constantly sweating but it was worth it because 24 total people became followers of Christ. 21 of those were kids. It was amazing to see how much God can do in just one week. We built half a wall of a school. We took out all of the weeds in a community garden and then planted 600 seeds in that garden. We went on prayer walks where 3 people were saved. We taught an English as a second language class which was really fun and we did a vbs one day where 21 kids decided to follow Christ. It was absolutely amazing to see what God did in just that one week. It was just completely incredible and overwhelming. I started missing Haiti before we even left Haiti. Overall it was an amazing week and I hope we go back next summer. ~Kayla
