Dense Air

It's getting harder to breathe as everything seems dizzy,
you say it's gonna be the perfect night as my coughs slowly come in.
I would look around if I could but your hand is blocking my view
saying I should just let go and that it's gonna be the perfect night.
Why is everything in slow motion tonight as you push up on me and whisper in my ear,
No words coming through to my head just floating around.
The density is weird, it makes me wonder if it is really what you tell me it was seeing the lie right in your eye.
You have the perfect energy but it just pushes me away,
I thought I was free in the air tonight
Yet you seem to prove me wrong as you hit my line.
And the only source of light I could sense was the moon that seemed to be so bright tonight.
You got me forgetting all my past and future
as I seem absent and look in your so unfamiliar face.
My breath catches in my troath as everything goes dark without you even saying goodbye almost like you Don not even care what's wrong or right.
The subconsciousness in my gut telling me to run away from this light but the darkness just pulls me in and hugs me tight.
Then when I stand up all that's left is my heavy mind and a note from last night, making me wonder if this was even right.
