"listen, i've been missing kkami lately so i asked my mom to pretend to...be him." he said slowly, like he was embarrassed.
or like he was lying.
"that doesn't explain the contact name. that's not kkami's name."
he sighed again.
"it's his name in english. i thought it would seem... less weird?"
you thought, still, even if he was telling the truth, he's been avoiding you.
"you've been avoiding me, acting like i don't matter to you."
"i- i swear i didn't notice! i've been so caught up in my phone and- and work. i'm really sorry. i can prove that this is kkami!"
he sent a screenshot of the messages. the pictures were of kkami and hyunjin's mom. they did look like selfies.
maybe he was telling the truth?
"just- just give me some time to think, hyunjin," you sighed, hanging up.
