*surprises....

*many years later...*

"Mom! There's a man at the door looking for you!"

I walked over to where Eros stood and looked down at him with a smile. He walked past me and I rolled my eyes. Kids...

I went to the door and opened it. I stared at the person in shock and looked up at the blizzard of eyes that once made my heart pound. Woah... what is he doing here?

"Hey.." He said and looked up and down my body. I gave him a faint wave and he smiled. "Nice wings.. They suit you."

I was about to speak when I heard a loud giggle come from down the hall. Ugh... these two.

"Eros, stop! No! Mommy!" I heard my five-year-old daughter call and sighed.

"I'm coming, Gaia! Hold on!" I called back and looked back at Ken. I gave him a tired smile and his blue eyes lit up. I opened the door wider for him to walk in and he did, making his way to where the giggles continued. I shut the door and heard squealing now. My daughter could make a lot of noise... especially when she saw her father.

"How's my little princess?!" Ken growled playfully and she giggled.
I saw Eros standing in a corner watching the scene with a smirk and shaking his head. He always found it amusing whenever Ken came to see Gaia.

Oh, right. I guess I have explaining to do about that, right?

Gaia is Ken's daughter. Apparently, to add up to my fucked up 'condition', when Ken and I mated, he couldn't impregnate me since I wasn't ovulating. But, his little 'friends' stayed around my insides swimming lividly for some fucked up reason while Eros was on my womb. The reason why my ovules didn't fecund with his sperm was because, apparently, Angel's were faster to reach them. So, since he was the last to claim me after Ken during the whole heat thing, he impregnated me. Confusing? Maybe. But well, after some time I was ready, again, to reproduce and Ken's little friends were around (still...) so... Gaia snuck into my womb.

Fucked up, right? But everything is possible in this world. And after all I've gone through, I wasn't surprised to have something like this happen to me.

So, once Ken knew (because one of our messengers told him) he came back here, to our 'damned' household, and met our daughter. He was quite likely happy, even if we were friends. We were still mates, dead or alive, so it made him feel great to know he would have someone to pass in the throne as an alpha. Even if it was a female.

Angel didn't mind him here or Gaia at all. He's gotten over it and is a changed man. He barely talks to him, though. But he's always like that. I'm probably the only exception for his antisocial behavior. And Eros, of course.

I watched how Gaia's aqua green eyes glowed at the sight of her father and smiled. She seemed so happy. Her eyes were a mix of my golden ones and Ken's blue ones. So they came out kind of green, sort of remembering me to Death's eyes. But well, I named her Gaia because the goddess of earth is named like that and I have a great connection with it. Ken didn't seem to mind it. He wouldn't mind if I named her nincompoop as long as I named her. Mate things...

"Wanna go out with daddy? Huh? Grandma and Grandpa wanted to see you..." He said and kissed her cheek. He stood up in his full 6'4" height and carried her on his arm. He looked at me for permission and I shrugged. "I'll bring her back by sunset. It's not even that far anyway."

I nodded and walked up to her room. Ken waited downstairs with Gaia as I looked for her things. Then, I felt a eerie presence in the room. Only I didn't feel scared. I felt safe.
