"Would you like some meat?"

Alex looked at me and smiled. I gave her a shy smile and shrugged. She rolled her eyes and shoved three giant drumsticks on my plate. I admit, I was starving.. but I was too shy and hadn't developed confidence yet.

"You are so shy." Yanira said and I shrugged.

"I just don't trust people that easily." I said and took one drumstick in my hands. The warm and roasted meat felt good under the tip of my fingers. I have already eaten this before, but I've barely eaten anything these days. Up until today that Alex and Yanira made me eat. Otherwise, I wouldn't have eaten anything at all.

I didn't look at Yanira nor the rest and just focused on eaten. Everyone was on their own conversation. The vampires ate their meals, which consisted on raw bloody meat and a glass of cold blood. While the wolves ate warm huge chunks of meat. Us wolves eat a lot.. I could eat a whole horse by myself if I was really hungry. I've never eaten animals nor anything other than what my mom used to cook me. My mom was a great cook... the best. Here, the Lannisters have people to cook for them... so it's not the same. Still, something is something.

We finished our meal and walked over to the living room because someone really 'important' was there for a visit. I knew I wasn't an official member yet, but they wanted me to be there. So, I reluctantly walked with them and sat in a corner all by myself while we waited for the very important person to walk in.

"I think you'll like him.." Alex whispered in my ear. "He's one of your kind..."

I looked at her with a weird expression and she just smiled. Okay.. what does she mean by 'one of my kind'? That he's a hybrid? That he was kidnapped? What? I was about to ask her when she turned to face a person that walked in the room. I decided to look as well.

Everyone greeted him as he gracefully and quietly made his way through the room. He was tall, his skin was pale, he had semi-broad shoulders, a long torso, muscular legs, and short dark hair. He wore glasses and had nice facial features. His nose was small and perfectly shaped, he had a pretty big Adam's apple, his eyes had multiple long eyelashes and they glowed a faint orangey color, his lips were pink and thin; he was pretty handsome. But the serious expression on his face made me find no real interest in him.. at first.

He shook hands with the males and greeted the females with a kiss to the cheek. I noticed how Amy turned red when he said hi to her. I wonder if she likes him. Tho, I couldn't quite read her thoughts because I was far away. Yet, I think everyone in the room could feel her cold heart beating wildly on her chest. Yep. I totally think she has an interest for him. Yet, I also sense that he doesn't really care about her. I can't read into his thoughts because he has the same necklace as I do around his neck, which prevents me or anyone from looking into his mind. He seems like a mysterious person... and if what I think Alex meant with her words, I believe that he is a werewolf and a vampire.. I wonder how he changed into one..

Just as I was about to ask Alex about him, Ryan stood up and the rest did as well. They all turned to look at me and so did the guy who just walked in. I looked back at them awkwardly and couldn't help but blush by having this stranger looking at me. I am incredibly shy to strangers, at times. Mostly now because I feel so vulnerable and depressed here and not with my real family. I usually am a bubbly happy person. But, ever since what happened, I've become more and more serious and sad.

"Innocence," Alex spoke and motioned for me to walk over to her. She stood besides the stranger and he studied me carefully with a bored expression. I didn't precisely felt intimidated, but I felt kind of shy around him since I didn't know him. Still, I shook the thought of fear and shyness out of my head and puffed my chest out. I'm flat chested so no boobs will come out. And since I am barely two inches smaller than him, I looked pretty secure of myself. I was one of the tallest here anyway. Ryan topped us all, but I was, probably, the fourth tallest or so.
