The boss began introducing Karishma to someone who seemed to know a lot about her. "Ye Veyom Singh ki wife, Mrs. Karishma Singh..."

These words felt like a sudden stab to Haseena's heart. For an agonizing moment, Haseena closed her eyes, desperately trying to contain her emotions. Karishma, too, understood the turmoil that Haseena was enduring.

"Lucknow ki sabse famous aur successful surgeon. Last year, inhone hi meri biwi ki jaan bachai," the boss continued.

Haseena interjected, her voice tinged with sarcasm, "Arey sir, inhe koun nai janta. Itni successful hai ye. Aaj inke husband se bhi mulaqat hogayi..." She emphasized the word 'Husband' in a way that couldn't be ignored.

"It is a pleasure meeting you, Captain Mallik... Bahut naam hai marine services mein," Veyom appreciated.

"Of course hona hi tha," Haseena replied without breaking her gaze on Karishma. "Akele insaan ke pas koi kamzori nai hoti aur wo apna 101% deta hai. Having a family is a disadvantage. Right, Mrs. Karishma Singh?"

"I don't agree with you. Having a family is the biggest pillar of strength," Karishma responded firmly.

"Sorry... My mistake. Aap ke pas toh in-laws aur ek badi family hai... Aap ka profession bhi toh normal hai, bahut support kiya hai aap ki family ne. Ab husband kar rahe hai. But my job is unique so no one likes to support it!" Haseena remarked, deliberately stretching the words 'Badi' & 'husband'.

Veyom and the boss exchanged confused glances, wondering how Haseena had this information. Haseena finally broke her intense eye contact with Karishma.

"Aap log hume aise kyu dekh rahe? Hum ne inka interview pada tha internet par. Wahi se pata laga hume sab," Haseena explained casually.

Shivani joined the group, equally surprised to see Karishma. She whispered to Haseena, "Karishma idar?"

Haseena replied loudly, "Let me introduce you to my colleague, best friend, and my only family on this planet earth, Shivani! Aur Shivani ye new transferred employee jo humare junior honge. Our assistant aur ye unki wife, the great Dr. Karishma Singh."

Veyom felt slighted when Haseena introduced him as an assistant, given that he had worked as a vice-captain and sometimes co-captain.

"Excuse me? Assistant?" Veyom retorted, clearly offended.

"One minute..." The boss took Haseena and Shivani aside. "Captain Mallik, ye tum kya bol rahi ho. Wo bhi Captain hai."

"Hum ek hi shart par training denge ki Veyom Singh humara assistant hoga. Warna hum company abhi issi waqt quit kar denge. It's your decision, you want to save your best employee jo sabse bade consignments handle karta hai, jo nayi clients ko easily handle karta hai or want to save a new transferred employee, jisse ship operate karne ke alawa kuch nai aata," Haseena made her demands sternly.

The boss had no option but to accept Haseena's demands. After all, she was his favorite and the most capable captain in the organization. The three of them rejoined Veyom and Karishma.

"Captain Mallik sahi bol rahi hai. Tum unke assistant honge. It's company policy. You will be working under her," the boss conceded under pressure and left.

Haseena continued, "Unless I approve you as eligible for a consignment, you need to forget everything you've learned. Now, I will train you." She wore a satisfied expression, which Karishma clearly understood.

"What is this nonsense? Hume ye sab nai kaha gaya tha. Sirf transfer ki baat hui thi. Agar yehi karna hai, I'm going to quit," Veyom stood up for himself.

"Abhi tum ne kaha humara bahut naam hai marine services mein," Haseena reminded him.

"Haan toh? Kya bolna chahti ho?" Karishma interjected.
