Chapter 19

CCTV

"We can use Telegram," Rejo suggested while walking inside their subdivision's park.

Subdivision ito ng stepfather n'ya. Kuya Azriel Morfeyo's biological father. Inasawa kasi nito si Tita Farah, ang Mommy ni Rejo na baka maging Mommy ko rin in the future.

"Are you sure walang tao rito?" I asked intently, roaming my eyes around.

He sighed and brushed his finger on my hand. My heart skipped a bit. I really love his soft side for me. His exclusive treatment.

"Don't worry about the place. I made sure it was chismis-free," he joked and tightened the hold on my hand.

The Villafuentes are sternly rich and private.

He walked backward, facing me.

"Let's start contacting each other..."

I pursed my lips before I responded. "What do you mean? We're exchanging messages through close friends naman..."

His eyebrows creased a little, enough to express his annoyance.

"I want us to message each other normally, like how couples do, Ra," he said, still walking backward.

I widened my eyes a little before heaving a sigh. "Ang risky kasi. What if someone peeked through our cell phones? Or intentionally hacked our accounts?"

He rolled his eyes. "Pwede pa 'yong peeked through, pero hacking?" He huffed and shook his head.

Tumawa ako dahil parang naiinis siya.

"We need to expect the unexpected!

"I want a normal relationship. I want to message you all the time, call you—"

"Message lang ang usapan, a? Ba't may call na?" I chuckled, and he groaned.

He's wearing a polo shirt and khaki shorts. Ako naman ay shorts at hoodie lang. Galing kami sa coffee shop nina Celine kanina.

"We have to change our set-up, Hiraya. I've understood you for a long time, and it's time for you to understand me, too..." kalmado niyang sabi pero nahimigan ko pa rin ang kaonting inis doon.

What I want, he gives.

"Understand that I need your messages, too. IG stories are not enough for me. I want to be always updated.

I want a fast exchange of messages. I want that. I want to feel that I am your boyfriend..." seryosong wika n'ya at hinila ako palapit.

They say even the small things will be enough for two people in love, that if you're really in love, anything is always enough, but I guess that doesn't always work. Perhaps, two people in love will keep on fancying other things. They will keep on looking for other things to grow their relationship or to be more intimate.
