Mark paced in front of the store, trying to get the courage to go in. His hands in the pockets of his Lucky Brand jeans while fingering the genuine black leather wallet Hope had bought him ages ago. His graduation gift from her.

"Man, Mark, come on." His friend, West said.  "We're here."

"I know, but what if you're right and I'm too hasty?" Mark muttered as he recalled a few days ago when he told his friend his plans for his birthday dinner in two week with Hope and his parents.

"Well if it's only me that's making you nervous, that's a whole lot of crap and you shouldn't listen to me.  I've never been good with relationships or girls."

"I just," Mark stopped.  "It's the last step right? If you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with her..."

"Dude, I wouldn't know.  But I admire you for thinking so.  That takes some guts."

"You're really not good help." Mark sighed.

"I think I'm great help, I just called myself an idiot for your sake! Mark, just go in." West said, this time taking Mark's arm to move him into Greenwich Jewelers.

"Zayn got the girl," Harry grinned as he called Niall and Liam with the status report.

"Zayn got the girl?" Liam repeated causing Niall's head to shoot up.

"Yes," Harry smiled before gesturing for Ian Ellis to order for him, the two having dinner in San Francisco while Zayn ran off with Kate and Louis, well he was off somewhere with Melina's brothers, apparently needing a drink after being chased from one end of the hotel to the other by their fans.

Niall immediately left his seat to snatch Liam's phone. "Zayn finally got Kate?" He asked.

Harry didn't even get to finish his yes before Niall made a noise of distress.

"It's just us again!"

"Er, yes? I guess." Harry answered, unsure of what Niall meant, though he had a feeling it had to do with their relationship status.

"You can't leave me too! Not even for Hope!" Niall was about to say more but by this time, Liam wrestled his phone back from Niall.

"Management put him on a temporary sugar freeze, ignore him.  His depression and hysteria will end in a few hours." Liam sighed. "Anyway, have fun with Ian and... Louis' a bit of a lost case isn't he?"

"The three of them were hollering and listening to Those Jean at a deafening level when they drove away."

"Should I tell our publicist to be ready for damage control?"

"Nah," Harry laughed. "I'm sure Melina's brothers will stay around their university campus and I don't think they would let Louis get that smashed in fear of Melina's wrath. Anyway I have to go  now, dinner with Ian." Harry said before hanging up.

"I don't think I've ever realized how popular you all were until today." Ian said upon Harry hanging up.

Harry sheepishly shrugged.  "Yeah, sometimes I wonder how we got so many great fans too, we're all just pretty normal guys."

Ian laughed.  "Anyway how are you?"

"I'm good, how are you and everyone in New York?" Harry asked in turn.

"Pretty good, Lacey's pretty excited because soon Landon will be old enough to be safely sent to daycare and she can go back to working part time at the United Nations as a translator and tour guide."
