As I stared out the window of the plane as we touched down, I sighed a little in relief.

I might have no soul, but everyone has their fears! Mine, unfortunately, happens to be heights. Now, it's not a huge fear, where I freak out if I'm somewhere high up. I just would much rather be firmly on the solid ground than in the sky.

I smirked as I remember when I told Leon I had a fear of speeds. He looked so vulnerable when he comforted me.

As soon as we met, I knew I would soon have him wrapped around my finger, eager to do my bidding. It was like he was asking to be played! Not much of a player to be honest.

The pilot's voice interrupted my thoughts as he told everyone on board how to safely exit the plane and all the other crap they always say. I rolled my eyes as he droned on and on, and quickly exited the plane when he finally shut up.

When I finally got my luggage from the conveyor belt, and had gotten everything straightened out with the airport, I briskly walked up to a black sedan parked in front of the entrance.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw a group of guys ogling me, completely shameless.

I smirked, and added a slight sway to my hips, drawing them in like moths to a flame. Right before I opened the passenger car door, I turned around and gave them a wink. They stood there, with their mouths agape, until I closed the door. I saw in the side mirror that they still stood there and eagerly started talking and pointing at the car.

Don't they know it's rude to point?

Boys.

As soon as my friend Lydia started the car, I burst out laughing and said, "Did you see that one dude? I think I could see the drool from over here!"

We both cracked up laughing, as I looked out the window where the boys were still standing, one of them still staring at Lydia's car.

Lydia was the person who had become closest to me since my worthless father left. Some would call her a best friend, but she's not. We both know that if one of us just up and left, the other would feel no sadness in watching them go. It was a strange relationship, to say the least, but it was the only thing even close to a friendship that I had.

As we pulled out of the parking lot and headed to Lydia's apartment, she asked me,

"So, how did it go?"

I sent her a smirk and remembered all the fun times I had - reeling Leon in, seeing him slowly falling for me, bit by bit, until he finally confessed his love for me. What an Idiot.

"Swell, just swell. I'm a bit disappointed it wasn't as hard as Aria made it out to be." I pouted, "Oh well, such is the life of the Black Widow."

I feigned tiredness and lifted my hand to my head, like I was feeling for a temperature. Lydia laughed, and we fell into a comfortable silence as we drove to her apartment. The silence was broken when she said, "So, there's a new kid in town who got here around the time you left. He says he's the greatest player that ever lived...want to prove him wrong?"

I can feel my eyes getting a dangerous glint in them.

"Trust me, by the end of this month, he will be caught, helplessly floundering in the web of the Black Widow." I licked my lips and then smirked.
