So one night I was at a party in a London's pub and while I was sitting at the counter I heard a man in his mid-thirties, sitting in the darkest corner of the old pub, telling the events of his life to whoever wanted to listen to his story.

He said that he was born in Brooklyn and his mother raised him alone in an insalubrious flat but apparently his life changed completely from one day to the next when a researcher got in love with his mom. He was healthy and adopted him as his own son. Him and his mom wouldn't have to be worried about money anymore.

This man was working in a world wide known research company. He taught the stranger everything he knew about the research world. He even brought him plenty of times to his work place when his mom was working and couldn't take care of him. He got really interested in it and had a project to work in this incorporation.

But when he turned sixteen something happened that he wasn't supposed to see or even wouldn't have heard about it.

He went to his adoptive father's work place, also the place where he was working for the summer, as usual and heard the boss, in the room behind the door he was passing by, arguing with some of his employees about a secret project that was supposed to remain between those few people.

He was shocked to hear it and absolutely froze when he learned about it because the secret research in question pushes back the limits of the actual known science and shouldn't be put between anyone's hands.

He didn't know what to do or not, he was lost, he mulled over it for weeks without being able to sleep.

The thought of this research was turning in his head non-stop.

One day he took the decision to sneak out about it, he discovered who were working on this project; they were his father's superiors, or only a few of them to be more precise. He stole their research and ran with it because he knew that they would ruin the world or even the universe, in the best case,no matter the cost of these research costs to the company.

He took his car and ran too far from New York. He went into the Grand Canyon to destroy it, he went this far to not be found by anyone or make the research easy to find. He threw the computers and all the material of research above the cliff but something strange that he didn't think would have happened, a portal was created just under him, right where he threw the equipment.

This portal attracted him to it like a black hole and made him fall into it. It's not about healing people but why were they creating this thing?

When the hole stopped, he went right back from where he was a few seconds ago but his car wasn't there, there was no trace of it if the wind took it with it.

He looked around but no one was there and he started to walk in hope to meet someone.

At this moment he didn't care about losing his car because he destroyed the research, thing that was a priority.

He luckily met a couple a few hours after that who took him with them to get him to the nearest city with an airport to let him come back to New York.

When he got back to his parents place, something was wrong, the flat was very different but his parents told him that it has always been like that.

That's when he understood, when he destroyed the machine built to travel through the universes, that he traveled to another dimension.

Unluckily he doesn't know what happened to his self of this universe or what happened on his own.

I don't know if he spoke the truth that night but if it happens to be true it would change our perception of the universe, I mean if he knew that I was one of those who created this machine.
