Martin/Percy's PoV

"Martin! Hey!"

I whip around to see my little bro running towards me, waving around a new device. "Hey, Chris, whatcha got there?"

He doubles over, panting. "It's...it's an upgrade for the miniaturizer!" He says excitedly. "Aviva made it so that it can become a watch!"

"Woah...lemme see!" He hands it to me, warning me to be careful, then runs inside the Tortuga.

I put the watch on, then press a couple of buttons and voila! The miniaturizer pops out and sets itself up next to me. "Sweet!" I say, I can't wait to try it on a mission.

I go inside Tortuga, where I find Jimmy whizzing around on his chair, eating pizza and jimmying around that remote of his, like I remember Leo did on the Argo II. Those were the good times...

"Martin? Are you there?" Koki waves her hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my trance.

"Oh yep, I'm back on Earth. What do you need me to do?" I ask, I need to keep myself occupied otherwise my ADHD acts up when I've got nothing to do.

"Aviva wants to speak to you, it's about a new mission," Koki says, pointing to the upper level. "She's piloting."

"Thanks Koki!" I shout over my shoulder as I run upstairs, going to the cockpit. I quickly find Aviva double checking that everything is ready for flight.

"Hey Aviva, you wanted to see me?" I say, taking off my blue gloves and vest and grabbing one of my blue hoodies, shoving it on.

"Yep. You're gonna have to go back to Camp." She says bluntly, not looking up at me, instead tightening some screws in the wall.

I choke on my spit, quickly summoning some water for me to drink. "What?" I exclaim, once my throat is cleared up again.

"You have too. Chiron needs some animals to be taken someplace else, and we're the only people who can do that without having problems with the mist. You know that Koki and Jimmy can see through it, remember when they saw Riptide?" She explains, finally looking up, still trying (and failing) to get the screw in the wall.

"Fine, I'll go, but if those stupid gods show up, I'm outta there." I growl, remembering how they threw me out, declaring that I was dead to the rest of the demigods. Aviva had found me, she was a blessed mortal, an adopted daughter of Pan. She cares for animals, and when she found me, I took the chance and started a new life. Sadly, Hecate thinks it's funny to weave the mist around Chris to make him think that we've been siblings and we joined Aviva's crew together.

"You're gonna have to tell Chris soon, you know that," She reminds me, "Mierda! Por qué es esto tan duro?! It's a screw!"

"Hey! No cursing in Spanish, English, or Spanglish!" I scold her, she just narrows her eyes at me.

"Fine. Now go get ready to tell him, and guess what? You'll get to see your Wise Girl again 'cause she is there at camp."

My eyes widen. Wise Girl? I hadn't seen her since I was banished from Olympus.

Flashback

"Perseus Jackson!" Zeus booms from up upon his throne. "You have been caught using powers that you shouldn't have! Either become a god and swear your loyalty to Olympus, or be banished!"

"Look Zeus, I ain't do nothing! I was practicing with ice! That's practically water!" I argued, trying to win. "Dad! Tell him!" I turn to my dad's throne, only to see no one there.

"Zeus," My voice had a dangerous, angry, calm tone to it. "Where is Poseidon?"

Zeus carefully chose his words. "He is very prone to being...very biased towards you, so he is...someplace else during this meeting."
