Chapter five

The next morning, Mark woke up in a very good mood. He didn't know why, but he knew it was going to be a special day. He woke up early, cooked breakfast and headed off to work. Haechan was still asleep and had no idea that Mark had already left.
A few hours later, he woke up, took a shower and went down to the living room. It was 7am. He ate breakfast, washed the dishes and returned to his room. Hearing no noise, he realized that Mark had already left. "I wish I'd seen him before he left", he thought.

Haechan was sitting in the living room watching time go by. He felt like the time was so slow and he was so bored.
Suddenly, he heard the door open. He got up quickly, thinking that Mark was home already. But to his surprise, it wasn't Mark but a young man he didn't know who had just entered the house. Haechan took fright and froze. He shouted:
- WHO ARE YOU!
- wow calm down kitten..
- ... what are you doing here?
- I'm Mark's best friend! But who are you? How did you get in here?
- I... I...
- You?? You're a thief, aren't you?
The young man suddenly approached Haechan and grabbed his wrist. Haechan began to tremble. The boy was so big, so imposing. He couldn't defend himself against him.
Suddenly, the phone starts ringing
BEEP...BEEP
The young man suddenly picked up the phone phone and started talking
- Hey Mark, I just caught a thief in your house! Thank me
- What? What are you talking about?
- I've just arrived at your place and there's this weird guy there
- Oh... Johnny, that's Haechan, my guest
- What's all this about? You didn't tell me anything
- I'll explain when I get home. And be nice to him, he's my friend
- Your friend... all right!
Johnny hung up the phone and turned to Haechan.
- why are you shaking so much
- ...
- I'm sorry, I made a mistake. So you're a friend of Mark's, are you?
- His friend?
- I'm Johnny! I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier...

- You can't talk or something?
Haechan ran up the stairs and locked himself in his room. He couldn't stop shaking. This strange character had scared him so much. He decided not to leave his room again.
Johnny in the living room didn't understand the boy's behavior. He just sat down on the couch and started watching TV. Haechan... he thought.

Some time later, Mark came home from work. He was worried about Haechan after talking to his friend. He knew that Johnny could be really annoying sometimes, and he hoped he didn't scare the poor boy.

- I'm home
- Finally!
- Oh come on ahahah. Did you miss me or what?
- You wish!
The two boys hug and start talking. Haechan was in his room when he heard that Mark was back. He left his room and headed for the stairs.
- So... who is that boy? Your new toy? Johnny asked
- Come on! It's not what you think
- I know you well, dear. You don't have to lie to me
- Stop it ahhh
Mark got up from the couch and started looking for alcohol.
- so tell me. Are you just going to have sex with him or do you want a serious relationship?
- It's not what you think
- So tell me what it is
- We'll talk later. Where's Haechan?

Mark rolled his eyes
- he suddenly went up to the stairs , I think he was afraid of me

Mark climbed the stairs and heard as if someone was there. He realized that Haechan had heard their entire conversation.

He went to Haechan's door, knocked and said:
- Haechan... it's me

- come out please...let's talk

Mark felt a surge of anger and suddenly gave the door a sharp blow. Haechan took fright behind and moved away from the door.
- I'll come back and see you later...
Mark went back down to the living room and got angry with Johnny.
- He heard everything you said!

- Stop it... I know you. Tell me your real intentions towards this guy
- I just want to help him! What do you think?
- Okay okay, I believe you. So the little thief is angry?
- Oh, Johnny!
- I'm sorry okay?Why are you getting so mad?You're no fun at all

- Come and sit next to me, I've got something to tell you.
Mark sat down next to Johnny and the two friends chatted all evening.

- I really have to go now, I've got a few things to do tomorrow

Johnny left. Mark wondered how Haechan was doing now. He was really tired but still wanted to talk to him, so he went upstairs and knocked on his door.
