“No, you wait out here. I’ll get them up.” I heard a voice in the hall whispered. I groaned and pulled the sheet up around Jace and I. My eyes felt heavy and in a second I fell back asleep. Then I was woken up again when David opened the door. He spy crawled across the floor and knelt at the side of the bed.

“Lover, are you awake?” He asked, poking my arm.

“No,” I growled. Jace groaned behind me. He pulled me tighter against him.

David raised an eyebrow. “You don’t have any clothes on do you?” He asked.

“David, get out of here.” I hissed.

“You’re so beautiful,” Jace said, sleep slurring his words.

“He sleeps talks?” David asked.

“Yes,” I muttered. Jace kissed my neck.

“And sleep kisses?” David asked, I could tell he was holding back a laugh.

“Yes David, now get out.” I snapped.

“So you’ve reconsidered your little sister denial have you?” He teased.

“David, get out.” I ordered.

“See I’d love to, but I already got Jack up. He really wants this dog and so do I. So you two get your butts out of bed.” David answered.

I elbowed Jace lightly. His head snapped up. “What?” he asked, looking around. His eyes locked on David.

“What are you doing in here?” He asked.

“Trying to join your little love fest.” David said, sarcastically.

“I don’t share,” Jace muttered.

“Well you both promised me and the kid a dog. So get up.” David ordered. He stood up and in one swift motion yanked the sheet away and ran out of the room wearing it like a cape. College kids.

Jace sighed and stood up. I pulled my knees up to my chest and laid my head on them. I wanted to sleep.

“Hurry up and get dressed,” I whispered.

“Why? Can’t I just run around like this?” He asked.

“No, or else we won’t leave this room,” I smiled. Jace sighed and got dressed. I climbed up from the bed and ran into the closet, shrieking, when Jace tried to grab me.

“Hurry up, little bunnies!” David called through the door. We got dressed and went downstairs. Jack and David had breakfast on the table already. They waited patiently while Jace and finished.

“Come on, we want a dog and we want it now!” David shouted. He pulled both Jace and I out of the kitchen, Jack shoving us from behind. He pushed us into his car, me in the passenger seat, Jace and Jack in the back. Jack buckled himself into his car seat and started to jump up and down excitedly.

“So are we getting a big dog or a little dog?” David asked as we headed down the highway.

“Big dog!” Jack screamed.

David nodded grabbed my hand and stuck his tongue out at Jace. I rolled my eyes. Jace leaned forward and whispered in his ear.

“You may get to hold her hand, but I get to sleep with her.” He said. David huffed and put his hands back on the steering wheel. I laughed and patted his shoulder.
