AURORA KENLEY always knew what she wanted to be when she grew up. She had her heart set on being a surgeon. Specifically a neurosurgeon. Something about the human brain and how they worked always fascinated her. So, she had set her goals on what she wanted and made sure she had gotten there.
She had grown up in Iowa but had moved to the sunny coast of Los Angeles with her parents when she was sixteen. It wasn't exactly practical for her since it disrupted her school year, but she managed. When Aurora graduated from high school, she was able to get into some of the best ivy league schools. But chose MIT because she was able to get almost a full ride.
Now she was going into her residency program of her choosing. She had chosen Seattle Grace out of the many hospitals that had accepted her. So she heads to Seattle to be able to start her intern year, hoping to specialize in neuro surgery.
But when someone from her past is also in the same program, old memories are brought back and a rivalry reforms between them.
