Accidental Infidelity

Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa ni Diego nang magkita kami kinabukasan. Our dinner ended peacefully. Buti na lang at nang makabalik kami ay hindi pa naman nakakarating galing dinner ang team. Laking pasasalamat ko na rin iyon dahil ayaw kong matanong kung bakit kami magkasama.

I nodded at Diego before I stepped closer to Ryker and whispered something. Ang sabi ko ay nasa likuran lang ako at bitbit ang kaniyang mga gamit habang nag-uusap sila.

We walked outside where the sun was already high up at 7:30 in the morning. Kanina pa naka set up ang mga camera na gagamitin dahil nauna na ang crew sa mismong spot kung saan gaganapin ang eksena. The last scene of the movie is where the male and female lead will clear all of their misunderstandings. Magkakaroon din ng mini-wedding para sa pinakahuling parte ng pelikula kung saan ikakasal ang dalawang bida. It means there's going to be a lot of kissing scenes here, if ever the scene isn't captured perfectly.

Nang magsimula na ang taping ay naupo lamang ako sa tabi habang tinatanaw sila. I held my ipad and wrote something on the screen. Dahil pag-oobserba ang trabaho ko ngayon, I listed the names of the actors and actresses present here. Kasama na sa listahan si Ryker.

I was afraid that Diego might not consider Ryker because I will be observing. Baka maging bias iyon, but Diego reminded me to judge equally. I know how to weigh out the traits of each and every one of them. Totoong tahimik lang ako pero matalas naman ang memorya ko sa mga nangyayari. I think I also feel when there's tension in between people.

When it comes to acting skills, wala namang palyado sa kanila. Some are in need of training and are saved by their faces. May iilan na masyadong mataas ang tingin sa sarili. May iba na sadyang akala ay pagbibigyan siya ng direktor kahit pa kilala ang pangalan. There are a lot people in the industry who entered showbusiness merely for fame. Fame means earning lots of money. Money equals wealth. Wealth means trying to buy everything your hands could touch. Minsan sa sobrang kasikatan at pagkabulag sa pera, nakakalimutan ng iba kung saan nga ba sila nagsimula. Minsan nakakalimutang magpakumbaba at umintindi. I've faced a lot of them in this industry, some even look down on me. Nakakapagod humarap sa mga ganoong tao pero dahil trabaho ko naman ito, tinitiis ko. Day by day, I learned how to get immune by these kinds of people.

"Cut! We need more emotions, Ryker! Kaunti na lang!" Director Clemenso instructed. Nakita kong tumango si Ryker habang hawak ang baywang ni Julia.

"Got it? We'll start again!"

Nanunuod lamang ako. From my periphery, I saw Diego Valmorida sitting and taking a sip of his refreshment. Tapos na ang kaniyang eksena kaya nagpapahinga na. Meanwhile, others were so focused on  the scene with Ryker and Julia.

Bumalik ulit ang atensyon ko sa aking trabaho. I wrote everything that I have observed so far. As Ryker's manager, I don't know how I'd write an observation about him without sounding bias. Sa interaksyon naman, isinusulat ko lang kung ano ang nakikita ko sa kanila.

A few hours after their shoot, Director Clemenso called the morning shoot a wrap and would resume later in the afternoon. Mas marami ang eksena ni Ryker ngayong araw kaya nang lumapit siya sa akin ay agad na nagreklamo na gutom na gutom na siya.

We had launch inside the hotel's restaurant where they served us a buffet of food. It was a noisy lunch as chatters were everywhere. Nasa iisang mesa ang mga artista samantalang kaming mga assistant nila ay magkakasama rin sa iisang table. It's not like we felt isolated because the production team is with us. Isinasali rin naman kami nila sa kwento. I can say that this team was quite different from all the production teams that Ryker had gone to. Mababait sila. In fact, I feel like I am not so out of place. Ang mga staff ay hindi nahihiyang makipag-kuwentuhan sa'yo. Back when I was sitting and watching, they would ask me if I wanted something or if they could sit beside me. Hinahayaan ko lang at sinasagot ko naman kapag nakikipagkuwentuhan sa akin.
