When I said things were going to happen on this camping trip I meant it. I have a self-blaming problem.

It seemed that the universe wasn't doing putting Chankyung through the emotional ringer. The girls, Taehoon, his friend and a few others all went with Jugyeong to take group photos to commemorate their first day at the camp, and it was going well all things considered. Chankyung was enjoying herself, having fun with Sooah and Soojin over who could make the most stupid face to make Chankyung laugh off her stress. They'd occasionally switch with Jugyeong so she wasn't being the camera man even though all these photos were meant for her as per her insistence.

The scene of joy and fun soured when Chankyung spotted Suho standing a bit away, staring her down like a hawk, and clearly wanting her to come over so they could talk. Her jaw clenched as she felt her heart pound like a drum inside her chest with panic and nerves. She turned around, tapped Sooah on the back, her best friend saw Suho and automatically called over Mr. Han to take a photo of all of them so Suho didn't get any ideas.

"Thanks," Chankyung said to Sooah, in a low tone.

"Of course. What are best friends for?" Sooah retorted, nudging her playfully.

They proceeded to take a few photos of the whole class with the girls on one side and the boys on the other. It was fine until someone got the 'bright' idea of pairing the class couple together and Chankyung, Jugyeong and Seojun were all pushed to the front and next to each other for a very awkward line up of Seojun staring down the girl everyone was pairing him up with and his childfood friend turned girlfriend who he just wanted to sneak off and kiss under the stars. Was that too much to ask for?

"Hey!! Who's dating in school?" Their vice principal exclaimed, coming over and waving his yard stick around. Chankyung wondered if the two were surgically attached together or not.

And then everyone began pointing at the girl who they thought best suited Seojun making Chankyung and Jugyeong have a shared look of discomfort from all the sudden attention and fighting. Sooah clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth before pulling Chankyung back into the crowd and then put her behind as a human shield.

"Don't even consider talking to him until he proves he's worth your forgiveness," Sooah told her, and then looked back at Jugyeong. "I wish I can pull her back too but she's already surrounded by everyone."

"I thought everyone was done making her the center of rumors," Chankyung said, seeing Mr. Han raise the camera to take more photos once the vice principal left.

A few photos later and you would think the chaos would have finally stopped but everyone picked up where they left off over if Seojun was dating Jugyeong or if he and Chankyung got back together. Chankyung couldn't help but look to seojun for some indication that he was going to speak up to tell them to mind their own business or that he only had eyes for her but from where she stood it looked like Seojun was taking the path of least resistance and wasn't going to say anything. At perhaps the worst time possible he finally chose to keep his mouth shut and not stir up trouble.
